Has your character been here for a while now? Are you tired of meeting characters for the first time even though they've been actually sharing a class and/or work space for a month now? Well, here is the solution for you! The Handwaved CR Meme! Instead of stressing out trying to thread with every character you would reasonably encounter right off the bat, here is an opportunity to OOCly discuss and establish casual meetings and connections that have already happened but never had the time or need to be threaded out.

This is best used for things like characters sharing a class in the Coven, or working in the same location, or pursuing the same quests. Or maybe even being roomates! Anything where characters have been occupying the same space for the last while, but haven't had the opportunity to thread it out yet. Get those first building blocks of CR out of the way, and prepare yourself for more intense threading later.

THE RULES:

I'm going to start off by posting some different subject headers, centered around common activities or locations I can think of. Beneath these headers, you can go ahead and post about what your character is generally doing there and the impression they may give off.
Then, other people react! Reply to people who have posted with how your character would generally engage with their presence, and establish some nice, casual CR. Are you that loudmouth that won't stop talking over people in Evocation class? This is where people can tell you how you make them feel!
Post your own subject headers! I'm just putting up what comes to mind, but if you have other subjects you'd like to mingle over, go ahead and make them a reality.
These don't necessarily have to be first meetings, it can also be used to flesh out CR you've established elsewhere.

Alex lives in Cottage with Nicolas, currently. On the first greeting she might be a little awkward, but if you're friendly enough then she'll continue to greet you when she sees you. At home Alex is either cleaning, trying to tidy up the outside, or cooking, and usually hums herself while she does so.

She doesn't know much about gardening yet so you might've seen her trying to figure stuff out..like what to leave alone and what to get rid of. If you come over to chat she may invite you in for a drink or something to eat.

She's also been trying to adjust her clothes to her new changes, torn between comfort or hiding as much as she can.

Also...she may come to your door to return any shiny/pretty things she may have taken on full moons. Or maybe you've caught her trying to grab some stuff from your windows. Some apology food will be included as well.

Also sorry if Maria like. Almost runs her over with her horse while poor Alex is trying to learn how to ride a bike.

Gardening pals! I did read that Maria has sunflowers and I think Alex would looove those. So she'd ask Maria for tips for sure. How to grow a thing??

If something does grow, she'd call Maria over to show her for sure.

It's okay..Alex wouldn't blame her. She can take a little running over /flexes

It's a hobby, she can teach people! Even fish people...

... I swear one of these days she has to get over that. Maybe someone like Alex can help with that. And if nothing else uh... a handsome woman to offer her a hand up and/or a ride back on the horse?

Alex will gladly help. She understands being iffy about people or..non people haha. She's been on both ends of that, so she also doesn't really hold it against Maria. But if she's able to help her feel a little more comfortable around her changes, Alex will be glad. But she'll take care not to touch her and stuff.

An offer from a handsome woman is always welcome. Also!! She's never ridden a horse /sparkles. But she..can't promise not holding onto Maria in that case..

That's gonna have to be something she gets over eventually, too, SIGHS. I promise she's... well, I am working on it with her.

Anyway, incidental contact is about the only thing keeping this Witch from going nuclear so. You know.

Haha no worries! And I'm all okay with Maria being uncomfortable or just NOPE to the monster thing. Part of the fun is seeing how that changes/if it does!

Trueee...Yeah there's fair warning that Alex will be showing more merrow characteristics especially coz she doesnt have a bond. And then stress also makes her own symptoms from drug use act up so that may appear down the line. Sooo that may not...help Maria being okay with the fish >> Although that's down the line and not part of this meme ahaha.

But Alex will have been very eager to do gardening things with Maria and invite her in for meals! She does mostly Italian type dishes and is a decent enough cook. By now I'd say she at least feels that Maria is a nice person so she won't be as intimidated, but she'll still be a little awkward since she worries about making Maria uncomfortable (so making sure she's a good enough distance, covering up as much of her physical traits as she can)

I have to hope it does or that dream might become a very explosive reality. Sometimes I wish she wasn't so difficult, but the payoff should be worth it...

... And hey! Working into the future is fine. It's within the spirit of a CR meme, I'd wager.

Either way, she might turn down the first couple of requests for dinner. She's really just kind of awkwardly avoiding interacting with Monsters like that, but... ply her with enough being harmless, and she'll let her guard down eventually. And then the world is... ah... our oyster?? Maybe???

She'll try not to look too disappointed, but she'll light up the moment she says yes. If she makes too much of something she might just leave it by her door (at a reasonable time so it's not under the sun or outside for too long).

Poor Alex's life. Think you meet a nice, hot girl to make friends with, and then it turns out she's a mass murderer. A dead mass murderer. I mean to be like 2% and no more fair the first time Maria died it was because she couldn't handle the guilt of the truth of what she had done, but you know. Doesn't bring people back.

Story of her life. Meeting hot murderers.

....Yeah she's...not sure how that's any better.... But who's she to judge about what people used to do.

Okay she might be a little scared for a moment, but it'll pass.

CAN'T SAY MARIA'S NOT A VILLAIN. Cuz she is. Oops. She means it when she threatens to kill Monsters. It's not an idle threat, her strength is no joke, she can destroy people........

But you know, curry some friendliness and she'll be a lot less stabby. Heck, she might even be able to go for the gold at some point.

Well then I'm very curious how this CR will go then! Alex would be quite torn and may go back and forth about how she feels about it. But I guess, to be fair the people who saved her were originally supposed to kill her so if Maria's nice to her in the end it's fiiiine. And once Alex sees you as a friend or someone to care about she's..kinda hard to shake off.

she will definitely be friendly to avoid the stabby. Altho if she goes feral on Maria, Alex wouldnt blame her if she got stabby.

She's morally conflicted and hot, therefore everyone wants her to step on them and tbh mood, but, also, cool motive, still murder. (And then the curse the villagers she killed levied on her and her buddies ended up cursing all future Hunters regardless of where they came from to turn into bloodthirsty beasts and then go to a very special hell when they die. nbd)

Yes good, get a little attached. It makes the conflict later when the truth about Maria's life comes to light that much more fun to thread out.
