I don't have any strong feelings toward the Coven. They are useful for newcomers such as yourself, and their libraries contain a wealth of information and other resources. They also hold classes, though I've not attended any.

Outside of that, it is hard to say.

I will say this, though, to clarify some things: Japan is the country's name. You can speak Japanese and be a Japanese person. Futhermore, Oregon is a state within the United States of America. So stop lumping it together with countries.

Your arrival disregarded this. You, and an unexpectedly high number of others, instead appeared through mirrors across the city. In addition to that, many of you have magical power or physical transformations far ahead of an ordinary schedule. It has proved chaotic for the Coven's officials.

It seems as though things were already chaotic before I got here. Disease, public executions, black markets, and these are only a few of the disturbances I've heard about.

You're not wrong. Evidently it is the Coven's hope that we will aid in its problems. It appears to be a loose contract based on one's willingness, however. Plenty go about life without involvement in the disturbances you describe, and the city is fairly insulated from the outside wilderness of Geardagas.
