Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Tell Us More: Dedue is from Fire Emblem Three Houses! Yes, another one, sorry. He's 204cm/6'8", built like a tank and likes gardeninng and cooking and dislikes talking or people talking shit about Dimitri. He's fiercely loyal, "tragic backstory" is kind of an understatement and is generally like, ridiculously chill considering. His whole like. Deal.
Choice: I feel like one of the monsters makes more sense from what I understand, though I'm not really sure which one I'm feeling for him.
Basic Plans: Honestly I just wanted to have fun with the Fourth Wall event and hadn't really thought much past that! I generally prefer to play post-ts Dedue though I can also do pre-TS, I'm flexible.

Imagine if you could make copies of yourself and then your copies made copies and you ran around having the time of your life until your copies rebelled, cut you up and then killed each other and you were left with more issues with a comic book store and then you ended up joining a team of supervillains because you just wanted a place to belong? That's Twice, basically. He's not that bad of a guy, really, except for the occasional murder and his choice in friends and the fact that he feels like if he doesn't wear a mask he's going to split in two. As you do.
Choice: I feel like Chimera works the best thematically? Witch would also make sense, tbh.
Basic Plans: I Just Think He's Neat! no but, like with Dedue, I just kinda wanted to have fun with y'all for a bit. I'm just vibing here.

im going to run into his huge perfect arms!!! Dimitri will be so comforted to find Dedue, I can't wait for them to meet...!!! Dimitri is pre skip, but I'd absolutely be down to play with post skip Dedue since you mentioned you prefer that!!

That said I also love Twice! Chimera is perfect for him, too! What canon point would you take him from?

Yeah! I am super down for whatever you want! I usually prefer post ts because it's hard enough to get this man to talk to people as is, so if you're down for that I'm definitely into some timeline shenanigans.

Twice is a fave of mine, I have a soft spot for weirdly nice villains. I was thinking of just after the yakuza arc, partly to avoid spoiling anime-only fans and partly because a later pull would, uh, change a lot.

Dimitri being bitty by Dedue standards is incredibly important

All of Dimitri's castmates are timeskip, so he won't struggle with Dedue being older as well - I think it'll honestly be really fun to let Dedue have a Dimitri that will... talk to him and be friendly again HRUGHWE

FOR REAL THOUGH. I keep wanting to say Dedue'll meet younger, more friendly Dimitri and be like "MUST PROTEC" but that's his default anyway so maybe he'll just be like ;-;

Dedue your default is beautiful and I love you HHHH - maybe Dimitri can show him some of the foliage around the outer wall, he's been getting lessons here and there about it just because and it seems like something Dedue would like LMAO
