Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Possibly Bringing: Shamir Nevrand (Fire Emblem: 3 Houses)
Tell Us More: One of the Knights of Seiros from 3H, but like, the one that doesn't actually have any strong allegiance to the Church. 10,000% Done with everyone and everything. Has sass for every occasion.
Choice: Monster, probably. Owl or other bird of prey Harpy, likely.
Basic Plans: No actual plans to app, I'm just here for her to be the "guy delivering pizza walks into everything on fire" about the rest of the cast and their varying time points and relationships, which will make 0 sense to her, since I'm gonna take her canon point as pre-timeskip.

Tell Us More: She's a six foot tall rat, who is a Dragoon. Had to deal with her people getting basically genocided as part of the weirdest and most convoluted body snatcher plot you've ever heard of. Also her boyfriend forgot about her, and she has to try to restart that relationship. Yet, despite all this, because Freya is the Actual Best, she didn't break in half like most people would, and went on to save Life Itself with her pals.
Choice: Witch! Because being confused for a Monster (when that are not) is, of course, the point of playing an anthropomorphic animal in this game.
Basic Plans: Also just here to dink around. FFs come compare worlds! It's weird how classes stay the same but everything else changes, yeah?

Possibly Bringing: Moira O'Deorain (Overwatch)
Tell Us More: A 6'6" ethical disaster conglomerate of human rights violations, she's basically a mad scientist that is really, really into the idea of forcing evolutionary jumps. Except she has the tech to actually do that kind of stuff, no matter how much it goes against every good medical practice. A doctor without a Hippocratic Oath, and man this place is going to be fascinating.
Choice: Chimera, probably. Some kind of crime against nature chimera.
Basic Plans: And Then There's This Asshole. She's just here to poke at the Monsters, mostly, to see what makes them tick. You want to get dissected for SCIENCE? Also to be surprised that she can make smarmy comments in Irish and like half the people here will understand her.

Tell Us More: The Queen has arrived. General strategist for the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, generally a good person and a decent moral compass, but will punch you if you get out of line, like every good team mom should. Also wears leather and rides a motorcycle, but gets embarrassed about it. Has an older sister she idolizes.

Oh I definitely feel the urge for the game thing, too. Idk if this one in particular would be It, mostly because I already play a Witch here (and tbh I really can't see Makoto as any kind of a Monster), but that doesn't mean I can't have some fun with 4th Wall!

But I will definitely see you there! So Makoto can not only feel really out of time and place, but have to deal with someone she was 110% sure she would never, ever see again. And isn't 100% sure she wants to, but such is life. Putting characters into strange, awkward circumstances is what RP is for.

Why thank you! I almost apped her somewhere once, but ended up not going through with it. I do like to pull her out on occasion, though! And I may just do that here, depending how I feel. I need to redo her icons before I do anything, though. Man.

Well, all things considered, they may both be coming! I think Makoto is a definite thing, and Freya will be the 'if I don't feel too overwhelmed' side, but I actually am not anticipating too many problems. So yeah!
