Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!
Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)
Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.
Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.
Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.MAIN ▪ LOGS ▪ OOC

yes hide behind da-ge. forever. please. he might not have cultivation anymore but he can still chop his brother's enemies in half. HE HAS A LOT OF MIXED FEELINGS ON WHAT HE'S HEARD ABOUT NHS'S REVENGE, BUT. it's mostly pain and failure as a big brother. turns out music education is important, did you know that??? he didn't know that. wild.

and also!! it's okay, some of dage's fighting skills probably would've come in handy, so maybe he should have listened too. T___T he had to win revenge in the exact kind of way dage would hate so you know, we're here on the pain and failure train too. did you know revenge does not in fact bring back the person you lost? The Worst. [ jazz hands ] THE NIE BROS. all pain and suffering hours, all the time.
Anyway, I look forward to snotty crying all over his robes!!! And also what a terrifying team they could make. Boy howdy. Chopping skills and strategizing skills = A Team. (also, music and arts education is so important which is why you clearly should have just let him paint,)

NIES ROLL UP LIKE WHAT UP, WE'RE IN PAIN. God I want them to be a power team just for a little while. What could have been if they'd talked about things like human beings rather than just yelling all the time. HE'LL EVEN TAKE THE SNOTTY CRYING ON HIS ROBES it'll be the happiest he's been in Aef. baw yelling at him over sword forms and huaisang begging for a break after half an hour like old times ;; his heart can't take it. let big brother make up for how bad he got toward the end and buy him paints and brushes and fans and things!!! he's dealing with some regret and hindsight from his last months alive now that terminal rage illness is gone and he's more clear mentally so getting to treat his brother right for a change would be so good for him. and he would definitely show him around!! never letting huaisang leave his sight again oops.
