Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Possibly Bringing: Lyna (FFXIV), Seselu Selu (FFXIV OC), The Baron (The Cat Returns), Shu Rei Fuan (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers) - DEFINITELY BRINGING IN LYNA just juggling around with the idea of the others.

Tell Us More: Lyna is viera/vii from the First who knows how to weild chakrams and be a total kick ass guard while also being a soft bun who has emotions but tries to shove them into the void because she has to be strong for those who look up to her. Seselu is a lalafell scholar/gunbreaker who you can bribe with good food but will KO you by either throwing her codex at your head or channel being adorable as sin to win an arguement. The Baron is a dapper af cat figurine who is voiced by Cary Elwes THAT'S REALLY ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. And finally Shu is one of five of a ~~boy band~~ team who eats everything in sight, wears mystical armor, says terrible puns, and is very much the epitome of late 80s/early 90s anime.

Choice: Monster for all of them since I have a witch in game already so let's mix things up a bit.

Basic Plans: None whatsoever outside of shenanigans and just having fun with some characters that I miss playing to see if any would make for a good fit here in the future. Maybe.

GOD. It was my first anime obsession okay. My tiny self used to get up in the wee hours of the morning to watch it faithfully back in the day. I had a Ryo and Rowan and Cye back on LJ lmfao.
