Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

The Yonah from Gestalt is Papa Nier's daughter and is a sickly, sweet little girl! Loves flowers, cookies, and tries to cook ~~badly~~ for her father. She often feels lonely... :(

Orchid is a soft-spoken, sweet golem girl inhabited by a young spirit. She used to reside in a human body once, but gave it up because "nothing ever belonged to her in the first place." But she was given a chance at life with a golem body and is content with being her own person.

Choice: I haven't decided on Yonah yet? Kind of winging it here. For Orchid, I'm planning on her being a Witch!
Basic Plans: Yonah doesn't meet the age requirements for the game, so she will only be around for the Fourth Wall! HELLO. I'M HERE TO GIVE BROTHER NIER A CONFUSING TIME! Orchid, on the other hand, is more of a young teenager who I may consider in the future. I'm trying to decide what canon point from GBF I'll take her from.
Anything Else: I'm super rusty on Yonah, and I need to give canon a quick(?) once over! And I need to catch up on Orchid's current canon so I can have a fresh start with her by playing her from a different point this time around.

KAINE!!!!! I am likely going to play baby Yonah from before any of the endings so she can be like... OH. I can finally meet the Kainé person that Dad always talks about. :')

For the fourth wall at least I will be doing Kainé from ending D so she will at least recognize Yonah! But of course she's known everything else about her for a long time, poor kid...

Canon doesn't allow happiness, period... but Kainé will make looking out for Yonah a priority because even if she doesn't Remember Things, she will know in her heart that is important. :c

Kainé please keep watch over her while bro Nier cries in the closet. One month of happiness and then they go home ~~to die~~ in June. Ok that's enough happiness.
