Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Possibly Bringing: Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)

Tell Us More: Geralt is a monster hunter who's not exactly human himself; he's mostly a loner and a huge grouch, but deep down has a soft side (very deep down). He's pretty blunt and doesn't really care if you like him or not, having spent most of his life expecting everyone he meets to detest him and his kind. He's got the instincts to do the right thing even if he generally pretends otherwise, or at least refuses to ever acknowledge it out loud. Also a huge emotional idiot (actually just an idiot in general).

Choice: Turnskin (wolf), naturally.
Basic Plans: Just testing the waters! Since Geralt has already gone through a series of (traumatic) mutations in his life, it'll be interesting to explore that in context of the changes here.

its going to be a Thing, for sure. i fucking love witcher and i'm blessed netflix has revived and created new aspects of witcher fandom. i play yennefer (from game and netflix) and ciri (from game) and it's just such good lore. i'd be so interested to see how geralt deals with actually becoming a turnskin monster himself.

same i was used to pretty much only ppl who played the games really having heard of it so im super happy it's much more widespread now! also AHH YENNEFER AND CIRI...i love them both to pieces in all forms.
