Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Possibly Bringing: Zack Fair (FF7) remake knowledge and everything else from the compilation okay!
Tell Us More: Zack is a SOLDIER 1st class who at one point worked together with Sephiroth and also knew Cloud. He's extremely loyal and holds on to the idea of honor. Very skilled in combat, Zack went through a lot of wacky things prior to the events of FF7, original game and otherwise. In many ways he's incredibly open and charming, laughs a lot and tries to lighten up the mood - not to mention encourage others to be their best. He is also 100% a country boy... listen,,
Choice: Monster! Most likely a turnskin that can change into a wolf? This is a very, very rough sketch lol
Basic Plans: Here for fun and shenanigans! Zack is a very old muse of mine and I'm looking forward to test him out in a more structured environment.

WELL... haha, he's post-mideel. To him, Tifa's just gone through his head, and he's washed up with her from the Lifestream. He knows Meteor's falling, and more or less knows everything, but he hasn't been back to the Shinra manor's basement yet, so he hasn't remembered experimentation, or mako poisoning, or what happened in the wasteland.

In his head, he remembers Zack, of course! But it's a blur from passing out after Sephiroth stabbed him to meeting Tifa at the sector 7 train station. THE SAD THING IS he's pretty sure Zack's alive. Somewhere. (In his mind, no way anyone'd be able to take him down...) and. The rest of cast know, but he... doesn't.

SO THIS SHOULD BE FUN???

this should definitely be fun! i'm still undecided on what canon point to take zack from for the 4th wall, but You'll Know once it's up. either way, zack will be there for cloud to have his moments and further concerns.

that's totally cool with me! as far as canonpoint, aerith is post-advent children: complete, and outside of some minor fleshing out from the remake (the parts that add to her backstory, the neighborhood watches/orphanage in the slums, etc.), i'm not using that for my characterization for now since i want to see what happens first.
