Special Fourth Wall EMP!

Happy one-year anniversary, Aefenglom! In honor of this special occasion and to make up for delaying our application round, this month we are having a Fourth Wall Event, open to all who want to try out a character in the setting. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Keep in mind that for this Fourth Wall, characters who would not normally be appable will be allowed, except for CRAU, and with the caveat of "be considerate to each other" with regards to doubles, etc. Otherwise, have fun!

Feel free to use this post for characters you'd like to see, or to float characters you might want to bring, make plans with people who aren't already part of the game, etc! (The CR Meme on the 3rd will be for current players/characters. Fourth wall guests should use this instead.)

Fourth wall characters will arrive through various mundane mirrors throughout Aefenglom after a little mishap at the Looking-Glass House. This means that yes, you might stumble out of someone's bathroom mirror unexpectedly, sorry about that! Once here, everyone will begin accelerated transformations into Monsters or Witches, but unfortunately, their presence here is not so tied down as proper Mirrorbound, and by June 1st, they will all vanish back into the mirrors around the city. ICly they will know their stay is tentative, but no one will know exactly when they'll disappear.

Still, that's plenty of time to explore a little, or reunite with old friends.

Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Possibly Bringing: Ilia Amitola (RWBY)
Tell Us More: Ilia a chameleon faunus (animal person) who can pass for human. Her parents were killed in a mining accident and she decided then to join up with a Faunus Rights group called White Fang which slowly turned more aggressive and violent and then into an all out terrorist cult. I plan to take her from mid Vol 5 when things start to hit the fan or right at the beginning of Vol 6.
Choice: Monster (Dragon)
Basic Plans: Ilia's lived a life of being "human passing" so her gaining more and more reptile traits would be interesting for her to deal with. If I take her from Vol 5, it'll be working through her doubts and seeing whether or not she'd choose to defect sooner or in a different way when removed from that situation. From Vol 6, it'll be her working through guilt and wondering what her role is supposed to be now that most of her plans have been put on hold.

Possibly Bringing: Seiji Date (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers)
Tell Us More: Stoic, calm guy who talks like a really formal old man in a group of five idiot teen boys expected to save the world over and over no matter how many times they try to retire. Raised like a samurai by his grandfather. Shuts down when talking to girls in casual situations (dude just can't). Keeps one eye covered because people got weirded out by him as a kid. Likes meditation, kendo, bonsai gardening, and F1 racing (who cares that he's not old enough, it's totally legal because canon). Carries a Big Ass Sword.
Choice: Witch or Vampire, hard to choose.
Basic Plans: Throwing him into the situation head first and watching him figure out how to handle it without the powers he's used to having. Investigation into these bonds and beyond the wall. See where things go, really. Once I figure out if I'm doing Witch or Vampire I'll have more ideas but he's the either/or for me.

Possibly Bringing: Zadh'Ilai (Original Character)
Tell Us More: Centaur who uses being a traveling emissary to get out of his village and the restrictive traditions he's expected to conform to. Is not very trusting of humans (they often try to kill or enslave his people so), but knows how to be diplomatic. Has a soft spot for people who look like they might be in trouble but can get gruff and awkward when trying to help. Blunt, but polite. Ilia loves to study about the world and see far off sights. He's an adventurer at heart even if he denies it.
Choice: Witch
Basic Plans: CENTAUR WITCH. Because having him have to learn and study magic is interesting as he tends to avoid most magic unless it's the passive types his people have.

Anything Else: There are other characters I'm tempted to bring too, because fouth walls are AMAZING but I will try to limit myself.

IT'S COOL he's from the manga/show toilet-bound hanako-kun (he haunts...... a bathroom....), he's more modern than her and DEFINITELY has less body count but i'm curious about ghosts talking afterlives at each other and he's pretty friendly especially to girls!! warning that he might try to flirt with her oh god. i've thought about apping him as a witch so that he could continue being ghosty but come to think of it do undead charas even stay dead, i totally forgot to check /runs to look

I'll definitely hit your character up with Newt since he grows herbs and everything himself and I bet they could get along through that (along with talking about herbology in his own canon). I'm particularly interested in learning about the creatures and flora & fauna of Aefenglom.
