OOC INTRO: FEBRUARY

- Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!
To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.
Player Name: Your name, handle, whatever you'd like!
Pronouns: Your preferred pronouns.
Contact: Preferred method of contact - discord, plurk, twitter, PM, ye olde MSN messenger, etc.
Interests: What are you interested in? Any cool canons? What can someone expect to find on your social media, or what do you like talking about? Etc.
Timezone: Where are you in the world?
Introduction: Anything else! Extra notes, a fun image (as long as it isn't too big, at least!), trivia and facts, and so on. Feel free to write an actual brief intro here too, if you'd like.
Character Name: Name & username!
Canon: Exactly as it says.
Appearance: Link an image or describe your character; if there's anything notable about them at first meeting, put it here!
Brief: A few words to sum up your character, a couple of lines to tell what they're about, whatever you'd like. If you have an info post all ready to go, feel free to link it in addition to your summary! Put any plans or ideas you have for your character in Aefenglom too, if you'd like to keep TDM threads, etc.
Seeking/Offering: What type of CR you're looking for, what type of characters your character would Bond with or that you think would help them best, etc. and what you can offer in return.

I'm Babs, and I've got Fie from Trails of Cold Steel, a jrpg.

Nice to meet you, Babs! I'm Ash. I genuinely thought Fie was going to be from a Tales game, so the similarity of "Trails" threw me for a second. Is it like Tales at all? I'm always looking for new jrpgs to play!

Ahaha... Kind of? It's under the umbrella of The Legend of Heroes, which has different groups of games in the series but all take place in the same world and crossover and come together over time. There's Trails in the Sky with three games, Trail of Zero with two (not officially out in English), and Trails of Cold Steel with four but only three in English right now. The characters are great, the world building is amazing, and you can hop in to any of the sets and start enjoying it! That's... the summarized version.
Cold Steel is kinda like Persona meets Tales if you want a comparison of gameplay style. Turn based, though.

And yes. I'll definitely make sure to have their paths cross. *A*
