OOC INTRO: AUGUST

- Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time you new people to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!
To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.
Player Name: Your name, handle, whatever you'd like!
Pronouns: Your preferred pronouns.
Contact: Preferred method of contact - discord, plurk, twitter, PM, ye olde MSN messenger, etc.
Interests: What are you interested in? Any cool canons? What can someone expect to find on your social media, or what do you like talking about? Etc.
Timezone: Where are you in the world?
Introduction: Anything else! Extra notes, a fun image (as long as it isn't too big, at least!), trivia and facts, and so on. Feel free to write an actual brief intro here too, if you'd like.
Character Name: Name & username!
Canon: Exactly as it says.
Appearance: Link an image or describe your character; if there's anything notable about them at first meeting, put it here!
Brief: A few words to sum up your character, a couple of lines to tell what they're about, whatever you'd like. If you have an info post all ready to go, feel free to link it in addition to your summary! Put any plans or ideas you have for your character in Aefenglom too, if you'd like to keep TDM threads, etc.
Seeking/Offering: What type of CR you're looking for, what type of characters your character would Bond with or that you think would help them best, etc. and what you can offer in return.
Stefan | Iramaat | Original
Pronouns: He/Him
Contact: PM this journal / Chrono#6269 on Discord /
Interests: I'm a little bit of a gym rat, but I try not to let that really take up a lot of my commentary. Into a whole lot of fandoms, although recently I've been devouring Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch trilogy. Big fan of Star Trek and Star Wars, into the new She-Ra, was into Avatar: TLA and LOK back in the day, enjoy Steven Universe. I've also been following Killing Eve (which is fab). Very much into Tolkien as well. My daily plurk conversations tend to be about whatever's topical and I try to be pretty laid back. Aubrey-Maturin novels are also on my list of cool canons.
Dabbled in Fate for a while and many other anime canons (Evangelion, yeeee), but I haven't watched any super new anime in a few years.
Timezone: PST/PDT
Introduction:
Character Name: Iramaat
Canon: Original
Appearance: [Bad username or site: lahorchata @ plruk] has drawn this lovely image of her. Also have this expression set!
Brief: Iramaat is a fae knight (or claims to be a knight), who claims she's here to help. She's actually rather self-centered, borderline narcissistic and incredibly manipulative. She sees herself as the heroine of her own, unfolding story, and so the world must support her. Even if she has to twist it to make it fit (or ignore things she doesn't particularly like).
Seeking/Offering: Negative and positive CR; she's drawn to people who have problems she thinks she can help "fix" or people vulnerable to her particular brand of charm. She will absolutely take advantage of the naive. Potential henchpeople if someone really wants to help her out. Potential lovers and friends, which will probably turn sour at some point down the line. If someone has the patience of a saint, someone willing to try and help Iramaat figure out that she can't really be like this all her life (she'll probably have to hit rock bottom at some point).

Myr ain't terribly different from his Fade Rift incarnation except he's been Reset To Factory Settings on knowing about the outside world-- but he's definitely naive enough to fall for someone's charm and aLSO a freakin burr once he's become a friend so if you need someone who is super-into everyone being redeemable bothering Iramaat...

And yes, please. She still has a looong way to go and really needs to hit rock bottom before she starts figuring out how to be a better person. I'd love to get more people in on that.
