Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time you new people to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Character Name: Lambert
Canon: The Witcher
Appearance: A rude and unpleasant boy. He also looks fetching in a dress.
Brief: Lambert's a witcher, a monster hunter trained from his youth and mutated with the use of alchemical potions. He's incredibly bitter about all this, considering he got roped into it without his say-so, and he's a rude, boorish, aggressive cynic who likes to solve most of his problems by stabbing them. That's not really an option in Aefenglom, though, so he's just going to have to sulk and fume for a while. Under his bluster, he can also be surprisingly sentimental, but he's mostly going to spend his first month here being mad.
Seeking/Offering: As a new arrival, Lambert's primary priority will be getting a sense for the lay of the land, bitching all the way at their circumstances. He will likely be participating in any quests that require physical labor, combat, or the preparation of alchemical ingredients, since that's what he's good at (and because, like, having money is nice). He'll probably be put up in the barracks for now, as well, and not at all inclined to take the monster changes or Bonding all that seriously until the full moon hits like a bag of bricks. In other words, I'm pretty open for all kinds of shenanigans with him, and please let me know if you'd like to consider our TDM threads canon!

The thing i forgot to add in my description of Lambert is he’s a grumpy asshole who also likes to get drunk and get other people drunk so IM JUST SAYING he can be your deus ex wino if you ever need one wink

but also genki meets surly is SUCH a classic combo too and i’m weak for that! i guess we can see how the prompts for logs go and take it from there lol

ugh, i am so glad there are witcher characters here!!!! i almost threw ciri or yen on the TDM a month or two ago but alas.

tragically, lambert's the one witcher who's a non-monsterfucker, so he's unlikely to be willing to be paloma's blood donor .... UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE??? unfortunately for him he's also more of an ass than geralt is so idk if that would inspire her to try HARDER

but ya investigation and/or general 'kill a thing, no regrets' (ok, paloma might have regrets, but lambert has enough no regrets for both of them) buddies should be fun
