Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time you new people to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Character Name: Lloyd Bannings
Canon: The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure (although you may remember him from his guest appearance in Trails of Cold Steel II, specially imported in to make English-speaking players go WHY about XSEED skipping his games)
Appearance: look at this nerd in his yellow turtleneck

Brief: Lloyd is a detective from the Crossbell State Police Department, who got put in command of an unorthodox new unit that specializes in doing JRPG sidequests, basically. Then his state got invaded by one of the neighboring superpowers, the police got disbanded, and he started living on the run as part of La Resistance. He accidentally adopted a weapon of mass destruction in the form of an adorable little girl one time, because this is a JRPG. Lloyd is generally a calm, serious type and the Designated Straight Man of his team, but he can also get hilariously gung-ho when the chips are down and the shit hits the fan. He does not. give. up. Ever.

Seeking/Offering: Lloyd is going to be specializing in divination magic, because what's a detective gonna do but try to figure out the mystery of how and why we're all suddenly here. I'd love for him to have some people to put his head together with on that front. He's surprisingly easygoing for a cop (the plot forces him to work with everyone from delinquents to yakuza), and he's good at looking at the spirit of people's actions rather than the letter, if that makes sense, so he can easily be roped into being your designated straight man for Shenanigans. (And I'd absolutely love that.)

Anyway, welcome Sam to the game! I'm Yuff and I play Elliot Craig who is probably a complete mystery to you. I'm looking forward to having them interact! Elliot will be happy to get to know him but also feel a little awkward because oh ahaha Crossbell, that's not a contentious topic for an Erebonian to talk about haha. 💦

Instead of saying his name over and over like most Pokemon, Lloyd just keeps screeing "GET OVER THE BARRIER."

I am super looking forward to awkwardly chilling with all these Erebonians, haha. (I mean, somehow Lloyd has a weirdly affable relationship with Lechter, of all people, so he can surely get over it.)

Forget a whole Trails cast, I can't believe I'm seeing Crossbell characters. I can't believe that's a plural sentence I just wrote.

I just want to say I am super hyped to see Lloyd here and I look forward to having these dumb boys interact, political awkwardness aside ahahahaha

Machias gave me brief regrets at not actually putting my Jusis journal to work, I admit, but I'm still drowning in Crossbell feels and THIS WILL BE FUN TOO.
