Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time you new people to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Oh snap, that's right, huh. I forgot that Geralt is like way old, hahah. I've actually not played any of The Witcher games or read the novels, but I have some basic knowledge of the world from reading about it and from friends who are fans.

BUT I... HAD NO IDEA... ABOUT THIS AVALON THING. And yet I am somehow not surprised, hahah, because Arthurian legend is referenced or shows up in other canons a lot. Arthur would be very interested in hearing about all this. He actually got kicked out of Avalon by his world's Merlin because she (yes, Fate/ is kind of all over the place with genders, lol) wanted him to go chase down an Evil of Humanity and defeat it. So he's been hopping from one world to another in search of the thing.

tbf geralt still looks old, just not quite as old as he is. he's probably got another couple hundred years of looking like his current icon set then THE FUN IS OVER REAL AGING IS SETTING IN. anyhoo.

yeah the last book in the novel series goes absolutely bananas. and eyy that sounds neat. i imagine we'd have to do a bit of cr groundwork to get into specifics (at least for geralt, he's not easily forthcoming about personal matters) BUT i'd love to put in the work tbh. at the very least they're both swordymagicy types!
