  Hey there everyone! Because of the level of interest and conversation happening with Aefenglom, we decided that we would offer an opportunity: Are you on the fence about a character, or having trouble choosing between Witch or Monsters? Want to see if there's anyone considering a castmate? You could even find out if you can enable someone into being one! This is similar to an EMP/ATP meme, in theory, although has the interesting note of being before game start. Not sure how you got here? Have no fear! Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geargadas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home. Players have a choice in what their character becomes, and how they make the best (or worst) of it. Possibly Apping: Ren/Akira (Persona 5 Protagonist) or Yu Narukami (Persona 4 Protagonist) or Shinjiro Aragaki (Persona 3 PSP version, not a protagonist) or Hank Anderson (Detroit: Become Human also not a protagonist and grumpy old man) (Yes one of these things is not like the other). Ren/Akira: Leader of the Phantom Thieves, a true gentleman cambrioleur, his friends are the world to him. Cooky and mischievous, he's basically the type to be flourish about what he does, and has plans within plans...but also a nerd, plays classic games and enjoys the Cake Knight Rises. Gets told to go to bed cause he's probably sleepy.
note; I'm not set on it being Ren or Akira, and more open to other's player's choice and deciding which name to use!
Yu Narukami: Yu's friends also mean the world to him, but Yu is a lot more calm and collected than Ren in his own way; in a situation where Ren would leave by breaking a window and fancily jumping down a window, Yu would probably just take the stairs instead. He enjoys doing magic tricks, telling terrible puns and can be sometimes seen as a little weird. He has no shame, for better or for worse.
also a note: Same thing as with Ren/Akira, I don't mind switching to Souji if other people are apping in the Investigation Team.
Shinjiro Arakagi: He's nothing like the other two, basically a grump that scares off others close to him and wants to be left alone because of terrible things that happened in his past (tm). Secretly a cooking nerd and is actually the mom of the group as in he cares what they are eating and making sure they are doing things safe. Don't rub it to his face however, he'll just pretend he didn't hear anything
biggest tsunder of the team.Hank Anderson: Basically a 53 year old grump that attempts scares off others close to him and wanted to be left alone because of terrible things that happened in his past (tm). Not as bad as before, has some more hope for the future, but still a big old grump. Is secretly good with kids (spoilers: his son dying is the terrible thing that happened in his past), not above saying profanities around children, basically a terrible role model all things considered. Likes his booze, complains about androids licking things.
Choice:
I have multiple ideas for each one;
Akira/Ren: Witch, Puca or Fae (if it's possible)
Yu: Chimera / Thunder Dragon / Witch
Shinjiro: Turnskin / Vampire (with super cute bat form woops) / Werewolf
Hank: Werewolf / Faun / Turnskin
Basic Plans: Depending on who I pick, mostly either PROTAG THE SHIT OUT OF THE SETTING AND PEOPLE (tm), or being in their own corners somehow running into others and having them slowly come out of their shells. Probably. No promises with Shinjiro. He's a bad grump. Maybe if you get a good rank with him he might cook you something, but he'd never tell you.
Alternately, I have also thought about Eikichi Mishina from Persona 2 but that guy's a really big loser.
