[It turns out, bonds aren't always totally born out of necessity. Imagine that! And she gives an appreciative, if not weary smile, to Shiro for his silent help once again. She's getting a little tired of all of this slipping around.]

[She says that with a surprising amount of softness, despite the small laugh in her voice. Keith had always been the most difficult one of the paladins for her to wrap her head around, but now that there was literally a tether between their emotions, he was a lot less mysterious to her. A benefit for everyone in the house, for sure.
She gestures towards a bench a few feet away.]
Shiro, would you mind sliding me over there? I think I am ready for that seat now.
[ A quiet chuckle. It's good that they've come this far; Shiro remembers how tense things had been between them at one point. But it makes him happy, knowing that Keith's got someone watching out for him when he can't. And the same goes for Allura, too. They're both important to Shiro, after all. ]
I'm sure everyone can agree that's a good thing. [ But he nods, and he guides her over to the bench. ]
Your seat, Princess, [ he says, as he guides her to sit. ] It's maybe not the most comfortable, but it'll do.
[She huffs a fond laugh, aware that her and Keith butting heads was likely stressful for everyone on board the castleship. By all means, life in their little house ('little' by Allura's standards. They lived in one of the large mansions in the city) had been peaceful.]

[Maybe she's a little bittersweet about that. She wants to return home someday, but that's because of her relentless sense of duty, not because she thinks that life is any kinder to any of them.]
