Sounds like you might be a Witch, then. I mean, I can't say how Monsters feel when they arrive, since I'm not one, but as a Witch I definitely got that kind of weird feeling of something new, and I didn't have any kind of magic back home.

[That remark to himself is just solidifying Momo's impression that Mogget was probably not a cat his whole existence, but then, he supposes he could've been a familiar.] This stuff definitely does, but I will say that from what I've heard, some people with prior magic experience have trouble adjusting to the magic here. Something about the clash with what they're used to. I've picked it up okay, but that was from no prior knowledge at all.

Nope. [Momo actually laughs a little about that question, glancing back to where he encountered Mogget.] There's a place called the Looking-Glass House that new arrivals usually show up in. Cottage full of mirrors. This is the first time anyone's come out of any mirrors besides those ones, apparently.
