It's not as if we choose to be here... [and she's back to absolutely deadpan. ]

I mean on their end. It just feels like they don't have as much control as they say and all that is an excuse.

Well, the houses they put us in are in areas that have been abandoned... So it isn't costing them much. [Though that does make her think of something, something that she's not going to bring up to him. It wasn't worth going into if he was leaving soon.]

I don't think they'd tell us that.
