[ That's a relief. The multitude of excuses (that weren't very good) aren't needed and he lets out a sigh, his shoulders actually sagging a bit. ]
Thanks for that. Can't say this is the first time I've been involved with mirrors and - [ He waves a hand in the air, not even going into the story of traveling through mirrors in some weirdass castle in France. ] Whatever. Never had it happen like this.
[ He knows things have been very strange here lately, with people popping out of reflective surfaces just about everywhere except where they should. ]
Apparently a lot of us arrive through the mirrors, though this is the first time someone's come out of my bathroom one. [ Even though Riley hasn't been here very long either. ] I'm still trying to figure out how to go back through it to go home. No luck so far.
[ Ah, that question... ]
They call this world Geargadas. Which is a mouthful, if you ask me.
[ A mouthful is right - Yuri mouths the word Geargadas, confusion in his face. Yeah, what the hell, he's seen weirder, right? He shrugs, shaking off the confusion as much as he can.]
Ok, the mirrors are a one way trip right now. I can remember that. [ God knows how much more new info will be thrown his way soon, though, so little hope in remembering much else. ] I guess that means Europe ain't that close, huh?
[ This guy is pretty calm for all the strangeness he's been learning but maybe that's just another normal day for him. Confusion, Riley understands, but still - for turning up in someone's bathroom and being in a new world... ]
That how it seems. I've attempted to go back but so far it hasn't worked. [ His eyebrows raise when the man says that name. ] Probably not. This might not even be your homeworld.
[ A short pause as he looks around at his temporary room. ] Since you're here for some undetermined time, you might as well have a meal before I send you out into the world.
[ Riley motions to the area beyond the bathroom. ]
Apparently eat. He is on board with that plan immediately and he's already making his way downtown in the direction Riley indicated. ]
I could do with some grub. [ He's a growing boy after all, except he's pretty sure one of his friends would make a remark about him growing a little too much (Anastasia), so he's glad to not have the peanut gallery for this moment.] What's with the mirror thing, anyway?
