Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going up on April 1st at 3PM EST, along with April's quests and calendar; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, and get hopping!

To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.

Sounds like a plan, he can totally do that. Just cover for him when Nie Mingjue rolls around ready to cut a bitch (and by bitch I mean JGY) and they'll be the bestest of pals!

HAHAHA he will absolutely return the favor! Dimitri is very liable to take whichever side is presented to him in a positive light first, so long as the first person isn't out there massacring villages or some shit

So does this mean Dimitri is gonna have an eye on joining Council or is he more a self-directed do-gooder than the political type?

listen sometimes you just gotta wild out and make a pile of corpses. he gets it. just make sure you?? kill people who deserve it??

He will probably have an eye on Council, though I doubt he'll go straight for it! He'd want to make sure he understands the world and form an organic opinion of what would be best for people here before jumping into a leadership role! If he hits it off well enough with jgy tho he'd sure back him if he wanted to go for it (I need to read more about it too OpE)

Well I mean obviously if something happened it would be because they deserved it, he's not a psycho, gosh. Hmm maybe don't use that phrasing around the guy who thinks voices are telling him to rip and tear. Also 'deserved it' is such a subjective term.

But I'm making the situation sound way worse than it is, ahaha. JGY actually grew up in a much more humble place than his golden-draped finery would suggest, so he'll probably pick up on a few things he'd like to push for a lot quicker (I already have a few ideas but I need to read more too.) I'm sure we could even throw 'em together just to chat about the state of the world and monster/witch interactions and let it run where it may!

...asuming Mingjue doesn't catch him and cut him in two before that I mean. :V

That is the exact logic Dimitri uses later in the game at times, so honestly? Fair. They deserve it because they're complicit in killing! How complicit? Don't worry about the details!

I love how dubious of an influence this guy is going to be - I'm so excited to get them started and see what happens aaa!! I'll be rereading what I can of the game lore in the next few days, and if anything sparks an idea for these guys I'll be sure to let you know! If nothing else, that start sounds like a great idea!

JGY's turn of phrase is always that he 'had no choice' pffft. And sometimes your necromancer-in-training needs some material to work with and those guys over there have been a problem for a while, so... why not just solve two issues at once? It's a little unpleasant, but much more efficient that way.

Not gonna lie, I've very excited for questionable friends and can't wait!
