They got as far as recording the lines in English before nixing it and it isn't even just in the social link, outside of it he says things like Yu having nice hands and really random stuff like that where you're just like "Are you sure you're not crushing on your best friend, Yosuke????". And Persona 5 has the option where if you romance none of the girls, you spend Valentine's with Ryuji (I think the anime gets even more suggestive, but don't quote me on that). Seems they like to tease but are too afraid to go all the way /SIGH.

Come on, Atlus, you know your fans are thirsty for some good queer content. Especially with Yosuke -- if we have to sit through someone's internalized homophobia, give us the payoff, too!!! Ah well, it's not like they don't have a great deal of company in this sort of problem. We just have to rely on fans like you to give us those payoffs.

Maaaaybe Persona 6? I'm hoping. It's really not outside the realm of possibility, it's usually the director/producer more than anything else since you did have an option to romance a guy in Persona 2 Innocent Sin so like. They've done it before. Persona 3 Portable, with the female route specifically, allows for gay romance (but still none for the male route /rolls eyes. I feel like they're just pandering at this point but that's a subject for another time).

I hope I do it well! The bonds will likely make it easier and Pixle and I already plan of getting them to romance each other here. Kinda hard to hide your feelings when the Bond will reveal all in some fashion LOL He can't no homo for long.
