Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Welcome, Vee! I'm shuu and I play Cú Chulainn (in Caster version) from Fate/ as a Witch. I haven't yet played Sekiro, but I'm so excited to see a FromSoftware protagonist! I'm looking forward to learning about him and playing with him!

The guy I have is very social, laidback and often times just dumb warrior, but also incredibly loyal - he carries a lot of history of being constantly under orders and the sudden freedom here is kind of new to him. So if that ever comes up it could be an interesting conversation. Also alcohol - Drinking/sparring buddies, yes, please.

and I haven't really played too many more FromSoft games... besides getting maybe half-way through bloodborne. but wolf is a little different from a lot of the other protags bc they gave him more personality! just a little bit more. he's not really super chatty

wolf is also incredibly loyal but he is the opposite of social and laidback!!!! but yes i feel like they will certainly both be fumbling through sudden freedom! and YES drinking/sparring buddies sounds perfect!

I guess my secret is that I didn't play all that many either, but I consume tv tropes stuff about them like crazy, hoping to one day get the time to play all of them. (cries forever into Dark Souls)

Freedom is very serious stuff, how do you work with that??? An important existential question.

that's incredibly valid........ most of the lore in the games are in item descriptions and very loose worldbuilding anyways, so you don't really need to play them to get all that tasty stuff!

this is so true... a very difficult existential question. they will have to figure out how to work thru it together

and probably get smashed in the process... because Caster works in a tavern and drinking with people is absolutely a valid way of getting to know each other 👌👌👌👌👌

it is perhaps the only way wolf knows to get to know someone... HE NEVER HAD MANY FRIENDS GROWING UP DUE TO ALL OF THE RIGOROUS SHINOBI TRAINING
