OOC INTRO: JUNE

- Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!
To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.
Player Name: Your name, handle, whatever you'd like!
Pronouns: Your preferred pronouns.
Contact: Preferred method of contact - discord, plurk, twitter, PM, ye olde MSN messenger, etc.
Interests: What are you interested in? Any cool canons? What can someone expect to find on your social media, or what do you like talking about? Etc.
Timezone: Where are you in the world?
Introduction: Anything else! Extra notes, a fun image (as long as it isn't too big, at least!), trivia and facts, and so on. Feel free to write an actual brief intro here too, if you'd like.
Character Name: Name & username!
Canon: Exactly as it says.
Appearance: Link an image or describe your character; if there's anything notable about them at first meeting, put it here!
Brief: A few words to sum up your character, a couple of lines to tell what they're about, whatever you'd like. If you have an info post all ready to go, feel free to link it in addition to your summary! Put any plans or ideas you have for your character in Aefenglom too, if you'd like to keep TDM threads, etc.
Seeking/Offering: What type of CR you're looking for, what type of characters your character would Bond with or that you think would help them best, etc. and what you can offer in return.
PAPYRUS
Canon: Undertale
Appearance: a C00L DuDE and JOGbOy of a skeleton, tall and dressed in various 'fashionable' active wear
Brief: Papyrus is a jocknerd of a skeleton, named for the font he speaks (and writes) in. He's awkwardly blunt about a lot of things, talks loudly enough it's protrayed as constantly capslock, and prefers to believe the best of everyone - from himself to any passing serial killer.
He's the sort of ambiguously aged adult who plays with toys and decorates his door with NO GIRLS ALLOWED / NO BOYS ALLOWED / PAPYRUS ALLOWED... But he's capable enough in combat that the reason he wasn't admitted into the underground's military equivalen was that he wasn't willing to kill anyone, and his boss/friend didn't want to send him into a fight only to die trying to befriend the enemy.
(She was right to worry, too; he befriended the first human he met, and lied to her in order to protect them from being really captured.)
Seeking/Offering: Unfortunately for him, Papyrus is gonna be a turnskin which is going to be a little gross and unpleasant on top of being a scary bundle of feral instincts, that's just how the zombie werewolf aesthetic rolls. Thankfully his brother Sans is coming as a witch, so he'll have a bond available... as soon as he believes in the need for them. Which might not be until after that first full shift, I'm playing that by ear.
I'm looking for people for Papyrus to befriend, people to be terrible influences on him (he's eager for friendship and sometimes a little too willing to let unkindness slide for the sake of their approval), and maybe even people for him to have inane, petty rivalries with. (Annoying dogs especially likely for that last).

alas fordola here is, uh. not good with monsters due to years of being taught they were savage god-summoning beasts.

But oh boy, that sounds fun - especially the part where it's not actually that far off. His monsters never quite succeeded in gathering enough souls to create their god-like beast, but they were trying, and Papyrus miiiight be a bit blase about admitting it. Not sure if that would help or hurt?

Well! He can always try to befriend Fordola later! Maybe it'll help to hear that the humans started it, and he went against commands to help a human anyway... She probably won't want to be reminded that she's becoming a monster, but he might 'helpfully' point that out anyway...
Yeah, I see a lot of ways for this to go poorly

!!1
Seriously tho, I love the idea of him having some early on antagonistic cr not just from the locals who go "ew necromancy" at him, but even the other abducted by mirrors. And this is a pretty fundamental divide of mutual fear with some merit to it, which isn't easy to resolve...

but connor is friendly and would absolutely befriend the skeleton
no subject
just wait until connor realizes:
there's two skeletons
neither quite looks like a human's skeleton, as there's little oddities about each of them that make them look pretty different from each other
and they're brothers

Well... one without skin.................... hm.
But wow this is really weird and kind of neat and hello do you want to be friends she is totally fascinated.

Papyrus' general goals are largely about making friends, so he'll be very willing to give it a try, and - since he understands a lot of humans are confused - answer general questions about being a skeleton. Especially if they're willing to answer questions right back, he only ever met one human before being kidnapped by a mirror
