Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Character Name: Ursula Callistis

Brief: Ursula is the product of an early life constantly put under the expectations of both herself and others, crumbling under those expectations, and now barely functions as an adult and is a victim of her own anxiety and critical self worth, though she's perfectly capable of being hopeful for the sake of others and deep down still caries the flame of her youthful ideals.

basically she's a millennial. as a note, she's still going to be "ursula" for the moment, since she's in a new world and all, and kind of wants to lean on what's comfortable for her in terms of persona.

Seeking/Offering: Ursula is a Witch so bonding is always on the table, though she'll obviously be reluctant to go immediately to physical contact even after the whole thing is explained to her. I'm very interested in her sort of starting over from scratch in terms of her relationship with magic, since she's a professor in her home canon. People for her to mentor outside of magic are also a huge bonus.

Ursula's got a big, dopey heart and wants to reach out to others who are struggling. She's from the end of canon so she's really only just starting to come to grips with her own lot in life, the weight of what she's done, and how to finally move past it.

Younger Ursula is absolutely what Lux wishes she could be when she grows up, and Ursula now is what would undoubtedly happen to her when she inevitably burned out. But I'm actively looking for characters with more formal magical training to toss this girl at, and I could see her genuinely liking Ursula a lot. Please take this sunshine girl under your witchy wing.

Also I keep meaning to finish this series but getting distracted, sobs.

honestly once ursula's found her groove, falling back into a mentor roll will do her mind some good. she's always at her best when she's helping someone else.

AND YEAH i feel you on the finishing thing, tbh if i didn't have to review shows for our group's LGBT panel, i'd never finish any anime i start, because i'm like that

Yesss. She's a natural too, and a very hard-working and open-minded pupil, so it probably won't be too difficult to teach her. Lux is going to be super jealous when she learns that witches fly where Ursula is from. That's not fair, she wants to fly!

I feel like we got 5 or 6 episodes in before life exploded. But one day I'll get back to this!!
