OOC INTRO: FEBRUARY

Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

It's been so wild since the time skip. Just constant whiplash every time we get more info.

I am. Fun thing. Anjanath can climb. I learnt this by thinking I could be clever and throwing a rock at one from up a cliff, because lol trex short arms. Turns out they can climb the vines. I was chased across the whole map.

There was much screaming.

LMAO oh god, I can picture that all too well. Some of the feats those monsters are capable of break all physics and understandings of biology. I do love the Anjanath though. What a cute, pink dino. I just wish they didn't have a dog-like noise when they're low on health.

Have you met the Deviljho yet? That thing scares the shit out of me EVERY TIME. It has its own musical theme that plays and it's so ominous.

Not in World yet. But I did see them in Generations. I think World is going to be more horrifying cause I can't just skip to another zone.

As a side note screw that one Gen mission that starts you right next to one of the main monsters. That scared me when it loaded.

World is my first, but that sounds terrifying. I will warn you that World will start randomly dropping you in the field (there's a chance for your ride to freak out before starting you at a camp). I get dropped on monsters a lot. It's always "fun." (Read: me screeching and hurriedly throwing back defense drinks while being chased around the zone.)

I've heard about that. It's good for the lungs I guess. h-haha

I'm still at the point were everything is pretty week. And my cat does a good job at healing me so it's not going as badly as the other games did. Thought I'm going to miss prowler mode from Gen. Playing as a cat was fun.

The palicoes are the best part of MH and nothing can convince me otherwise. In Iceborne you can play with them in the hot spings. It's so stupidly cute.

You can fight as them in prowler mode. They're kinda broken because they can burrow underground and have infinite lives if you manage them. And have no need for inventory stuff.
