- Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Timezone: Australian Eastern Daylight Time at the moment, which is GMT+11 a.k.a. terrible for being awake when everyone else is.
Introduction: SUP I'm Revise, I've been eying this game for a bit but I wasn't sure who to bring until someone booted me into an idol hell canon late last year and this happened. I just finished university so I'm in that awkward limbo (tm) before getting into a career and have a fair bit of free time as a result, and I like getting to chat with people OOC so definitely feel free to add me on Plurk if you want to talk shop!
Character Name: Momo (he has a full name but nobody's used it in 5 years and nobody in canon he's known for less than that knows it, can't wait to embarrass him if there's ever a memshare event or something)

Appearance: This is the outfit I brought him in because it's my favourite of his part 4 ones...he's a
shortaverage-height somewhat beefy dude who wears pink nailpolish and has cute little fangers. He sometimes comes off as younger than he actually is (he's 26) because he's the "cute" member of his idol duo.Brief: Momo is a 26 y/o veteran idol of the duo Re:vale, who are basically the absolute pinnacle of the music industry in I7's universe. He's one of the sweetest guys you could ever hope to meet and just wants to see everyone happy...except five years of being run through the entertainment industry grinder means he's fantastic at playing people, reading people and manipulating himself and loved ones into advantageous positions without necessarily stamping on anyone else. He's got a pile of self-worth and identity issues he's only just started to wade through properly and that he prefers to hide under a big smile and a bunch of jokes, and if you lay a finger on any of his loved ones, he will not hesitate to beat you bloody with either his bare hands or a baseball bat. Basically, imagine something like a German Shepherd that's good and friendly but will savage you if it has to and that's a good starting picture of Momo.

Also fun note about Re:vale - they have a married couple act that extends to their personal and private lives, to the point that despite Romance Being Banned in the idol industry, Momo wears a "wedding ring" and refers to his partner Yuki as "darling" and himself as a wife/mother on the regular. Please feel free to make all of the assumptions about this, because Momo is very unlikely to correct anyone on it technically being part of their act unless the conversation actually steers into the "romance is banned and I'm resigned to that and thus haven't actually considered what I'd do with my feelings for Yuki if that wasn't the case" waters.
Seeking/Offering:
Seeking:
-Some solid friends to start out with would be good! Momo gets lonely easily without Yuki but he's also somewhat distrustful considering his history in entertainment, so people who can readily prove they aren't just using him are an excellent start.
-People who can help him out with illusion magic, since that's definitely what I plan him to be cramming first. Too many entertainment applications.
-People who want to be on silly radio shows, because radio hosting is definitely right up there for what I want Momo's job to be here and he's very good at making things fun and a bit silly for everyone.
-People who like sport, especially soccer. Momo was well on the way to becoming a professional soccer player in canon before Things Happened so he loves getting together with people to do Sport Things.
-People who can verbally kick his ass over the fact that he's incredibly shitty at communicating his wants and needs and often just Never Mentions Them and lets everything simmer until something terrible happens.
-On that note, people he might eventually be able to open up to, because his backstory is a bit of a Tangled Goddamn Mess that he rarely talks about if he can help it, but certain holes in the facade tend to open up with people he gets to know well enough.
Offering:
-A patient listener and advisor. Momo's used to being a senior in the industry and having to guide people along the right path, so he's very well-suited to talking people through their problems even if he's garbage at handling his own. He's fine with weighty topics, too - he's dealt with some nasty shit over the course of his life and someone almost murdered him a couple of months ago at his canonpoint, I7 can get quite dark for what it is.
-Someone who'll press people's comfort zones a little - Re:vale are known for being a little bit...raunchy, we'll say, and while Momo will never straight-up make anyone uncomfortable if he can help it, he's been known to do things like ask people to strip or grope people's big beefy arm muscles.
-Someone to introduce you to the wonders of nailpolish and cute fashion and tactfully threatening your enemies and buying metal baseball bats to deal with people who piss you off enough.
-An entertainer! Momo has experience in a whooooole bunch of different areas of the entertainment industry so he'll have a good time with actors, musicians, comedians, etc etc so on and so forth.
-Generally just someone to get into things and try to help out and do what he can. I'm open to just about anything myself, so don't hesitate to hit me up for plotting at any time!

Hi Revise! I'm Ravi and I play Amadeus here. I saw and loved the first season of I7 but unfortunately haven't gone beyond that so Momo is still a mystery to me — but he sounds so fun. Even though their styles are wildly different, I'd love for these two to meet as fellows in music!
Amadeus has illusion magic in the bag, so he can def help him out there.

That said, I'd definitely love to have them meet! Momo's not a "natural" musician and actually doesn't play a lot of instruments (he knows...the melodica. and that's about it. yuki does all of re:vale's composing work, momo only recently started writing their lyrics rip), so I'm looking at trying to get him to learn a few here since he picks things up pretty quickly. And having someone experienced with illusion magic to help him get things figured out would definitely be appreciated!

On one hand Momo would love to hear him perform, but on the other honestly I can imagine him wanting to hear Merrow form singing at least once...he dealt with them a bit on the TDM so he knows the dangers but also hey where's the fun in life without at least a 25% risk of drowning...

we're in a game together! i'm really looking forward to having CR with you again. sakura is secretly musical (she plays the koto very well) plus her sister is a songstress so she has some interest in music. She'd really want to know more about his music if she ever found out about it. They can also maybe bond over having Things Going On and try to get each other to open up about them.

Bonding over music would also be good content, Momo's more of a singer but I've been thinking I want him to learn some instruments (that aren't the melodica) in the setting so I'm here to toss him at people who are better at instruments than he is.
