Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Hey! I'm Eski and I've been checking out the game on/off for a while but I'm actually here now. I teach English in Japan so my timezone can be really whack for a lot of people, sorry. I try my best to be open and communicative about my schedule/my slower periods and I'm always down to coordinate OOC to make things go smoother. My hobbies are being tired, sleeping, cooking, visiting shrines/temples, and vaguely traveling. Feel free to add me on plurk!

Brief:

She's the youngest princess from JRPG fantasy feudal Japan. Two of her older siblings are Azura and Corrin. Sakura is gentle and kind but also very shy and anxious. She's easily nerved in unfamiliar situations and comes off as meek and timid but like her older siblings, she's strong too… just in a more quiet way. Once her mind is made up, there's no stopping her, though, and she can be very brave. She's supposed to be the "best healer in the army" and has a knack for magic and using a bow. Sakura is incredibly empathic and feels greatly for the people around her. She's That Healer™ that will absolutely neglect herself while taking care of others if you know what I mean. Anime ages are horrible and she doesn't have an official age but I play her as being 16. Also, I'm playing her from the end of Revelations route because Sakura deserves to be happy. She's going to be a witch in game!

Seeking/Offering:

Seeking
- Starter CR!! Obligatory, "I'm down for anything" since she'll be new character and all that. For now, I'd like to avoid seriously negative CR because she'll have a lot going on with just settling in. I'm definitely down for it in the future, though!
- CR that can be patient with her. She's very anxious and has a lot of self-doubt so someone who can be patient and gentle with her will help her ease into things more smoothly
- Chances to put her out of her comfort zone! I really want her to grow more into herself and become the lady and princess she wants to be. She's too polite to really say no... so please, drag her into things.
- Other healers. Look, they'll have things in common.
- "Intimidating characters." Okay, work with me... it'll probably start off slow but Sakura is pretty self-aware of (most) of her faults and wants to get over her shyness. So something she does in canon is seek out the most intimidating person she can find and try to practice speaking comfortably with them. I'd like her to continue with that.
- Princesses or other royalty. Let her admire you as a role model, please.
- People that will hopefully stop her from hurting herself while caring for others in the future
- Other introverts... the world is loud and scary, okay.

Offering:
- A Soft Little Sister™. That's her trope. She'll encourage and support you and always try to find your good points.
- A Good Student/Study Partner™. She'll do her best at magic studies.
- Someone who will care for and accept you as you are. She wears her heart on her sleeve and feels for others easily. If you need someone to care for your character, Sakura will give it unconditionally. She's also pretty good with prickly characters because of her patience.
- Damsel Always In Distress™. She can actually take care of herself on a battlefield pretty decently... but girl has mad anxiety and frightens easily and tends to rely on others. If you play someone heroic or something along those lines, she's easy to take care of, oops.
- Someone who can low key call your character out for being sad or something. She's sensitive to other people's pain and emotions. She'll have to get used to your character first but this is something we can work on if you want?

I'm really bad at planning things tbh just give me CR i promise i'm down for most things

I'm not canon familiar with Fates (Awakening was my FE vice), but I'm rather charmed by Sakura from what I read. I'm excited to see her around.

I'm Kim and I play Newt from the HP prequels!

I would love to get CR with Sakura and I think they would mesh well as far as Newt being very patient and gentle. He's kind of motherly (especially shown with his creatures), so I think his temperament would work well, since he also does magic. Newt is kind of a weird/awkward introvert and has a tendency to prefer the company of animals to people, but he's also a Hufflepuff so he's loyal and friendly.

Honestly... Awakening is the better game, hahah. I waffled a bit between Sakura and Robin but the good sister won in the end.

I'm excited to see a Newt!!! I love a good Hufflepuff. I think he and Sakura would definitely get along because she's also very Hufflepuff. Teach her not to be afraid of all of the monsters, Newt... she's going to give herself a heart attack. Maybe she'll tell him about... idk, pegasus...es...? PegasI?

Azura got roughed up pretty bad in the kidnap plot last month so she's currently walking around with a broken arm and a tablespoon more depression than usual

So this should be a really fun....reunion....seeing baby sis might help the sad mood tho she missed her

It's cool, the last like... week hit me like a truck (renewing certifications and grading papers) so I kind of fizzled out early anyway, oops. But now we can try to have threads in game!!! She'll wonder how Cloud be anxious when he carries a big sword... and probably think a lot about one of her brothers who is also very strong but deals with low key anxiety. Which means she'll just have to believe in him and gently support him..... I'M DOWN FOR THIS.

I'm planning on having Sakura kind of just... not mention being a princess for as long as possible bc she doesn't think her title makes her special, especially here where it clearly doesn't have much weight... So it might be funny to see how Lorenz treats her when she's.... unintentionally trying to pass off as a normal girl? IDK, he'll probably figure out she has some noble status bc she she has certain mannerisms and stuff but we'll see!!!

Juza's very good at being patient and he also looks, regrettably (to him), very intimidating. While he's not really the heroic type, he does know somebody at home who's got high anxiety, so he's got the ability to work with that.

Hi Eski, and welcome to Aef! Fates is the only FE title I haven't played, so I'm mostly canonblind... BUT, I'd still love to get CR between her and Henry! As long as she can tolerate his off-color sense of humor, he gets along well with shy characters.

Henry's also a Witch, and he specializes in Abjuration, Evocation, and Necromancy! Here in Aef he's like a dark mage, only one who heals...? wild. He'd gladly offer to teach her Abjuration and Evocation, but maybe leave the Necromancy off the table, HA...
