Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Introduction: What's up I'm Mira (a different one than you have right now), I'm 27 and I never learned how to read. Two of those things are true. I work for my local school district as the webmaster. My brain is slightly fried at all times. Save me from myself.

Also! If we had a thread on the TDM, I'd be happy to make it canon.

Character Name: Juza Hyodo
Canon: A3! or Act! Addict! Actors!
Appearance: A broad and tall guy who's not actually part of the mafia. He's 6' and scowling. At first glance he's definitely the type of guy you'd assume was a delinquent and gets into a lot of fights. His voice is about as low as somebody would expect.
Brief: This bad boy can fit so much self-loathing. He's a big tough guy who got into acting because he'd rather be literally anybody else.

He has a resting bitchface, please look past that. A tough guy with a soft and squishy inside, he's very loyal and protective of the people he considers his... even without any monster changes! As a turnskin his loyalty and protectiveness is only going to get more intense.
Seeking/Offering:

I desperately want to commit theater crimes. Let's do guerrilla street acts. Let's do theater crime. Let's write plays (no, don't let him write, he doesn't have that skill even a little bit.) As far as he's concerned theater is the only way he can change himself.

As somebody who tries to keep himself in check at all times, he'll likely be looking for a witch bond fairly early, even if he does shy away from letting people understand him in an intimate kind of way. It's the circumstances and he'll be working with them, even if he's not happy about it.

Juza's empathetic. The more he knows somebody the better he is at reading them and calling them out.

Seeking
Rival types. It's not that Juza is actively seeking them out, but he does run into them... because he's incredibly stubborn and competitive. Everybody in his group hates to lose. Though it has to be in something he's at least a little bit invested in (acting, for example). Otherwise, he'll just walk away. Though that might also be fun.

Fussy caregiver types. He's really bad at coming out of his shell without somebody to give him a few nudges. This is also the type of person he's more willing to open himself up to.

Criminals/Sketchy types. Juza is not a criminal but he does work with somebody who's in the yakuza. Please be his replacement sketchy parental figure. He won't judge for it.

Enthusiastic extroverts. There's somebody in his troupe that's like this, he has a soft spot for this type for a few reasons.

Sweets enthusiasts. Let him eat cake with other people who like cake.

Heya! I'm coffee and I just apped in Emil here, who is very enthusiastic, pretty extroverted, and likes cake? He's also really good with closed off people, and likes to take care of others.

Hello! Yes, I think this will yield some good CR. It can take a bit of prying, but extroverts... he has a weakness to them.

Yes good. We should definitely plan a thing once the log goes up and we see what's going on! Emil is definitely down to pry, once he gets interested in a person, he's quite persistent about working out what makes them tick.

Hi, Mira! I'm Ravi and I play one of the resident theater criminals here. HE'S NOT AN ACTOR and thus probably won't be much of a rival for Juza, but they should definitely collab.

but yes! Prompto's a Shiba Inu turnskin so....slightly different kettle of fish but he will offer advice on how to handle the whole shedding thing

I put this out there now, I've never heard of this canon. But Juza seems pretty interesting. I'd like to see how Shiro would bounce off of him. Shiro's more of a mentor than a caregiver and he's definitely not fussy.
