Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

The joke in my head was initially just "anxiety girls" and then I thought further.

No Black Eagle can resist being kind to Bernie. Leslie is bad with social cues so getting to "not immediately screaming" state may be trial and error.

Then we are both excited. Excellent!

I think once these two get warmed up to each other they'll be so cute together. It's just going to be a trial for Edelgard and Hubert to get there lmao

It gets to the point where one wonders if the only real difference is Leslie organized her own kidnapping and her fear of people went in the opposite direction until she could stand to be more afraid sometimes.

They’re both very cute on their own, so an eventual friendship will be incredible. I wonder if Hubert might enjoy the show more than find it a trial as they run in circles in the meantime.

Leslie won't be screaming or making a ton of noise herself, but also as the only stranger in the house, she will be the cause of a lot of it. Sorry uncle hubie.

While Leslie will insist that she doesn't need anything if she's asked, she's definitely not going to refuse this thing that is already made and is here and is being given to her. In fact, she will be overjoyed over each one. There will be much positive reinforcement in this corner.

(Also I saw with Hubert that Bernie is going to be cooking, and Leslie gives very high praise to well-made food. When she was asked if she liked the food after her first meal at her new family's home, she said that it was like the food one would eat in heaven. So positive reinforcement avenue two.)

That's okay. Bernie doesn't need anything if you ask her either lol But you give presents to friends, right? At least she's pretty sure that's how it goes!

Omg yes please love her food. Bernie loves to cook and she's good at it! She'll be so eager to cook for Leslie if she loves her food.

Leslie is going to get destroyed in this presents arms race between people who barely know how friends work, as she has no creative hobbies.

Since Bernie is good at it, Leslie will love it. Her standards are very low, so when they’re significantly exceeded she gets EXCITED.

P.S. I was looking over the locations and saw the housing spreadsheet, and I put the both of our characters in Edelgard's house. However, Bernie's full name is just one character too long to not end up on one line in the document. For the moment I just made it one font size smaller than most names, which kind of entertains me since even Bernie's name is cowering, but you can adjust as you would prefer.
