- Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, check out some quests, and get hopping!

Introduction: hi! i'm agatha! please call me eggie if you prefer to shorten it! :D i live in southeast texas and i do tarot readings for a living. i watch a lot of horror movies and my most listened to artists are fall out boy and siouxsie and the banshees. aside from writing, i like to spend my time cooking, baking and putting stickers on just about everything! my spending weakness is make up and bath and body works brand hand sanitizers for some reason. my Random Vaguely Interesting Fact about me is that i collect novelty mugs, and that one harry potter quiz told me i was a double gryffindor no matter how many times i retook it to try and get a more interesting result.
i tend to be kind of sporadic with tags, but i usually tag back within two days at the most!
Character Name: Zelda,
Canon: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Appearance: this... blond elf girl with green eyes instead of blue, for variety.
Brief: The latest in a long line of royal descendants all named Zelda, this particular Zelda is define as being kind of a geek! She loves science and studying history, and seeks out the hows and whys of things. As she's post-game, Zelda's a little more secure in herself as opposed to the beginning of her timeline, but she spent a lot of her life feeling inadequate and still struggles with it. Another defining trait for her that sticks out against other Zeldas is that she was raised royal with a chip on her shoulder about her destiny as the legendary princess, so she's got some Issues and is kind of Sad with a capital S. Her app is more in depth if you need more there, but she's caring individual who sometimes struggles with empathy because of her upbringing. Which is to say her relationship with her father was not fantastic!
Seeking/Offering: Zelda's new so I want just about everything! In particular, I'd love for her to interact with normal people and just kind of be brought down to Earth and viewed as her own person. She's lived in the shadow of her bloodline for a long time, and I'd love for Aef to be a fresh start for her. In particular, I would love to play out these things with her:
- I'd love for her to make friends with people in her age group, so anyone in the teens is welcome! As a blanket statement, negative CR is always a possibility with this particular Zeldas as she's, uh, still learning to be empathetic at times, and her upbringing was less than ideal. Patient types would be great, but people who would call her out on her mistakes would be great too.
- Nobility... people of social stature... She's a diplomat at the end of the day and gets along well with such people.
- Knights... people who serve the public in particular, you know what I mean... If your goal is to PROTECT then Zelda's interested. I highkey want to have knighting threads sometime so pls
- I'd like for her to eventually learn actual combat, so people who would be interested in teaching her that would be great!
- Science-y people... come at me. She might find the more "out there" types to be, well, Out There, but she has a strong interest in science and history! So!!!!
- Anyone who might be willing to let her record their changes & all that? She'll be very interested in gathering as much data as possible on how people adjust to their changes in the hopes of helping new arrivals adjust more easily, too.
- She attaches to people in a familial way so I'd love to work towards found family CR, though it might take a while.
As for what I can offer:
- Do YOU need an unruly princess to yell excuse me at? WELL WELL WELL...
- Do you like elves? High fantasy? Magic abilities? Ohoho...
- Reincarnations of Goddesses??
- Girls who just have TOO MUCH on their minds, and seem to repress it only to take it out on other people?
- Young women who are still having to adjust to interacting with someone less formally?
- Overwrought very distinctly Fake British English dialogue?
- Experience with sealing powers?
- MUCH OLDER THAN THEY LOOK?
- literally when i write this down she just kind of sounds like a lord of the rings character...?
- anyway, zelda's favorite food is fruitcake so i can offer someone with bad taste in food? at least that's distinctly british about her

I think Newt and Zelda would be pretty interesting to bounce off each other. Newt studies beasts for a living, so studying Monsters and Monster changes are definitely his jam and he has been in game since game opening so he has seen plenty of his acquaintances and their changes!
I feel like I have more to say, but I can't actually think what. I'm just super excited to see Zelda around! Welcome!

Unlike your average Stalfos, he walks and talks - loudly at that - and is more of a furry skeletal werewolf than a plain skeleton anymore.
Alas, he's most of the way through his changes, so he can't offer much in the way of live examples of them taking place, but there's study and science options to be had. He's used to some very over-the-top and aggressive friends, so he can take some social missteps in stride, and he's willing enough to be blunt at someone if he thinks they're being rude.

Tbh, bouncing my oot girl off of botw's has been a dream of mine since I played the latter, since... spending a lot of time in hell while your hero takes a nap... duty problems and messing up hard... it's good stuff. Hello, Agatha! I'm Res, and I am excited to see another Zelda! And it's not just because I am playing half of Maria and Zelda's Drink Wine and Judge People Club. Which now can include another Zelda! A little bit of a different one than Maria is used to, but she gets along well enough with OOT Zelda and Maria is a... kind... of scientist of a sort. She has notes from her roommates' Monster transformations, too. You wanna know what happens when Chimeras turn into shadowbeasts, and Vampires die? She's got you.
She is also a noble, a former knight (kind of), and Way Too Old For This.
Anyway, I will 100% be down for some CR, but I am on vacation, so I might have to cruise in 15 minutes late with Starbucks to the IC Intro.

I was absolutely going to hit you up but I got swamped and saw you had a ton of replies on the TDM so I figured I would wait to do this.
I'm Ax, and I'm playing a fellow noble lady, Emperor Edelgard from the most recent Fire Emblem. She's struggling with formality, and with having too many lofty goals, etc. And might be willing to share her notes on her own transformation into a vampire. She's also gotten close to the other Zelda, enough that the name, the ears and all of that would definitely make her check.
I've got two other characters, both Witches, Sypha from CastleVania and Chandra from Magic the Gathering, and we could try multiple angles to see what sticks. But Edie ticks so many boxes...

Hi and welcome. My name is Seraph and I play Vanitas. Ngl I am invested in what KH3 couldn't give me with him, which is basically Van becoming something like a real boy. Right now he is struggling with concepts like empathy and trust in general. ...Also without being able to cast off his emotions he's also kind of having issues with emotional regulation as well.
I like positive CR or negative CR. It doesn't matter to me in the long run. But I jump at any opportunity I can to throw this child at people?

He's not science-y but he's a curious mind and loves to help, and when it comes to scientific pursuits he'll be willing to do most anything for the sake of sating curiosity. Hard emphasis on anything, unfortunately. (dark mage time, pursuit of knowledge time) Henry has limitless patience, but the hardest part would be whether or not Zelda can tolerate his obsession/okayness with Death And Dying, probably...

I'm one of those people that gasped when someone told me Zelda was a Princess and not the blonde elf! I actually have Breath of the Wild on my Switch but never played it. I hope to see her around and actually get to know the one behind the legend!

fugo is buds with aef's current zelda, which in and of itself I think a fun springboard for cr. and although his current occupation is a gangster, he was raised in the upper class and also has a Pretty Big chip on his shoulder about families who raise their children on the model of "this is your Role, don't even think about trying to get out of it"

I'm Kyo, and I play Kor here! He's your typical shounen hero, overly friendly and cheerful and optimistic and empathetic and very not smart at all. So, you know, the total opposite of Zelda in a lot of ways. But he believes in accepting people for who they are, so he'd be great for if you need someone who won't really give a rat's ass that she's a princess and would just treat her for who she is. He's also frequently compared to a knight in his canon despite not being one in any capacity just because of the lengths he goes to dedicating himself to people and how far he'll go to protect them.
