Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game, set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geargadas. Character choices can affect overarching plot, and the characters' ultimate goal will be to help rebalance the world by stopping the growth of the Cwyld, a magical blight infecting both the land and inhabitants living in places left unprotected. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.

Characters arrive to the eponymous city of Aefenglom as one of two choices: Witches, who learn and wield the magic inherent in the world of Geargadas, and Monsters, sentient creatures that can act as conduits for this very magic. Players have a choice in what their character becomes, and how they make the best (or worst) of it. Explore the city, the world, the Bonds that can be made between you and others - and see just how much you can uncover about yourself and the world around you.

Basic Plans: a lot of people watching, if you need a gentle push in the direction of something monumentally stupid or likely to fail or make a scene, he's your guy. Some arts things too of course, write some slam poetry, put on some topical plays, shittalk other artists.....

As a person who is like 99% Fate canonblind, I know that these characters are like beefed up versions of historical figures. I know that there are people like Alexander the Great or Mozart, and I found myself asking just this morning: "wonder if there's a shakespeare out there. probably is."

And HERE YOU ARE. GOD I would want CR between Mettaton and Shakespeare, a dramatic bitch who does everything for the vine. sounds awful, I love it. Theater is super illegal in Aef but that can't stop anyone, as far as Mettaton's concerned. Laws are for normal people.

At this point there's practically anyone you could think of, it's wild. Shakes still couldn't beat a baby in a fistfight though

METTATON AND SHAKESPEARE, I'm gonna scream, the world can't handle that. It's too much flamboyance. Which is perfect, frankly. He'll make Mettaton a star....of illegal underground theatre. Honestly yeah the legality isn't important, that's a stupid rule and uh something something all the world's a stage anyway so everything is theatre, is living illegal too????

Make him a star, Shakespeare. The more ridiculous, the better. Illegal underground theatre makes it sound so much more enticing anyway. They sound like they'll be too much for Aefenglom to digest... Which is the right amount, in my opinion

HE'S GONNA BE SHAKESPEARE'S MUSE. If aef can't handle Arteests then that means it's exactly what they need tbh. Somehow I feel like they'd just end up with the Romeo and Juliet from Nier Automata (which if you haven't seen please look it up, I'm sure Mettaton would love it)

AAGJKD I KNOW THIS AND I HATE IT, I hadn't even thought about it but... Yes, that's Aefenglom's treat from Shakespeare and Mettaton! Mettaton WOULD love it. This is peak performance. He wants to be Juliet 3.
