So back at Thors, Towa was a person that Elliot liked and admired, but their social circles were different enough that they never really hung out all that much. Sure they'd be together in group settings especially during the war, but it's not like they ever thought to hang out together. Still, he liked her and looked up to her!

Then she arrived in Aefenglom and he got to know her better, and he found it was pretty easy to talk to Towa. She's got a lot of similarities to Rean, at least in being approachable and the way she thinks of other people first all the time - so that made it pretty easy for him to get attached and know what to look for. It wasn't long until he started to think of her as a friend and not just "the student council president".

It was the radio show in Dorchacht that made his feelings go from just friendly to something more. Watching her perform something so raw as that song she wrote really moved him, and then afterwards bonding over missing Crow? It really changed his perspective and feelings on Towa, even if he wasn't cognizant of it at first. More and more he found himself wanting to spend time with her, do things to make her happy, help her, and so on - moreso than he had before.

Basically, he had one big emotional crush on her.

As of right now, he still really likes Towa. There's still plenty of things he's confused about with himself, but he knows he likes Towa enough that he's willing to deal with those anxieties. He's not sure where this relationship of theirs will lead, but he completely trusts her after the things they've been through together, so he's not as worried about it as you'd think he'd be. He's not so afraid of getting hurt that he's not willing to pursue a very good thing. And being with Towa? Feels like a very good thing to him.
