Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, and get hopping! Usually we try to have quests out at the same time as acceptances, but the post itself will be updated tomorrow or the day after at latest -- we'll keep you in the know,

To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for new players to fill out! Our CR/Plotting post will come a bit later, once we've got all the details for this month's event set up. Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.

Lol. Well, I'm down for trying for cr if you are. Kyo can take a bit to warm to people sometimes but I'm not adverse to things being slower or at least starting off negative. I guess we'll see once we throw them together. Not sure how familiar you are with the series/character but it could be interesting. I've had some neat cr with ocs and obscure characters before so I'm always up for trying and seeing how things go at least.

i am 100% canonblind! i think i'm canonblind to the majority of the game so it's an exciting adventure! even gwen's positive cr tends to be hashtag complicated because she is prickly and difficult, so i generally anticipate it not being immediate smooth sailing as a matter of course.

I just ask/check since I know more people are getting into it/back into Fruits Basket more recently with the new anime being released that is properly following the manga this time around. But I know what you mean, there are still a lot of canons I haven't gotten to experiencing yet myself. There is a List. But that does make cr fun as you learn gradually about the character/canon through tagging them too!

And lol yeah that sounds basically like Kyo. He's kinda prickly sometimes too, though like I said he does mellow out a lot more over the course of the series. He is from fairly early on canon point wise so still has a ways to go there yet though.

i pretty much don't animes except castlevania and hellsing abridged (my life is empty now that they are finished and there will no longer be annual hellsing abridged updates) so rp is basically how i experience them \m/

gwen doesn't really mellow so much as hone to a fine point tbh, the mellow version of her is still Like This. unlocking her friendship achievement means she feels comfortable enough to express her opinion even more directly, Brace Yourself. she definitely has like, a small handful of redeeming features and can be genuinely fun to be around if you like her personality but. you must like her personality, it's the only one she has and she's a messy asshole.

Understandable. I am not really getting into newer anime much these days either. Not really recent releases, for the most part at least, anyway. It is more like 'this has been on my list of things to watch for how long now I should check it out finally.' Though yes I do love the Abridged stuff for Hellsing and DBZ.

Kyo has plenty of experience with asshole types. /glances at the Sohmas. So he can probably be fine. Mostly. Eventually.
