Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, and get hopping! Usually we try to have quests out at the same time as acceptances, but the post itself will be updated tomorrow or the day after at latest -- we'll keep you in the know,

To help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for new players to fill out! Our CR/Plotting post will come a bit later, once we've got all the details for this month's event set up. Feel free to keep this either to one comment, or to split it in two - it's your choice.

Interests: I plurk music I'm listening to, about things I'm interested in, which consist of Fire Emblem (duh), tabletop games, Star Wars, She-Ra, FGO, Librarianship, and RP/meme stuff. Also music I like.

Introduction: I'm Ax, I'm currently here with Chandra Nalaar fieryimpulse, and Edelgard is character #2. Living in Arizona and in grad school to be a librarian, I'm in my last quarter to get my masters. I like fantasy stuff, I RP, try to balance work with that.

Character Name: Edelgard von Hresvelg
Canon: Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Appearance: Image here. Edelgard is a short, stocky, extremely fit young woman with intense purple eyes, pale skin, and nearly white hair. She almost never exposes any skin aside from her face, favors red clothes, and usually has a horned crown on her head. That may change if someone says it's dumb.
Brief: Edelgard is one of the Lords in 3 Houses, the leader of the Black Eagle house during the school phase and the Emperor of the Adrestian Empire during the timeskip phase. She is a well spoken, well mannered, and driven by a single-minded determination to change the world. She not the most sociable person, as she's had very little opportunity to live anything resembling a normal life, but she is kind and earnest when she's able to find people she can open up to. She's an innately private person, but she's willing to try to befriend the people around her. She can be dismissive and cold, particularly with those who vociferously argue with her about strongly held beliefs. My journal has her app if you want to know more spoiler-y things. And I have a spoiler opt out post here. Please let me know if you want to avoid spoilers or threading with Edelgard in general.
Seeking/Offering:I'm seeking just about anything. I want Edelgard to interact with people outside of canon, and I want her to find friends. I'd also love to have her deal with negative CR. Also she's going to be a Vampire, so also looking for people to help her deal with that or to become a snack when she loses control. Tea buddies would be great too.

hi! i dont fire emblem but gosh she sounds fascinating and a good person to toss fordola against, seeing as fordola is still loyal-ish to her old imperial thoughts, and is also single-minded in her desire to make her home stronger.

I could see her and Azura getting along on the surface but hmmmm. Secrets.

It's been a bit since I played Fates but I agree? I think that on a surface level they'll get along well. Maybe it'll grow a little less friendly once they scratch the surface, though most of Edelgard's secrets are sad things, not kingdoms that can't be named, etc.

I don't doubt it. I'm 10 years (for real) behind on OP but from what I know of Law, they'll probably get on well.

hi ax! ahhh, i love edelgard so much, she's a great character. i'm really hyped to see how she fits into the game world, especially given the way the political landscape has shifted!

edelgard is honestly too cool to be hanging around a dorky musician like amadeus but i'd love to get to pester her sometime with him regardless.

And is she really too cool for him? I don't think so! She likes music and operas, and he's a far cry from the desperate-for-marriage opera divas she's managed to befriend. I think she'd be awed to hear him play.

I don't mind an add at all! I liked our TDM thread, it was funny because he steps on all her toes unintentionally.

I do think I'm gonna cut TDM threads off now that I'm in the game, but if you'd like to keep it canon we can?

Silver hair dragon motif girls unite! Hello! I’m canon blind for a week or two but I am so excited to see Edelgard from what I hear! I’d love to get some CR in the upcoming few months with her! I think her and Dany could hit it off or challenge each other nicely!

We can certainly give it a go. They might get along really well, or really, really hate one another. Edelgard has a lot of problems with dragons, though exploring whether it's only certain individuals or if it's all dragons would be really interesting.
