OOC INTRO: MAY

Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, and get hopping! And if this looks a little different than the usual OOC Intro, that's because it is: we've made the executive decision to combine it and the CR meme.

Anyway, to help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to put this into two separate comments if you'd like, or just keep it to one - it's your choice.



Player Name: Your name, handle, whatever you'd like!
Pronouns: Your preferred pronouns. Contact: Preferred method of contact - discord, plurk, twitter, PM, ye olde MSN messenger, etc.
Interests: What are you interested in? Any cool canons? What can someone expect to find on your social media, or what do you like talking about? Etc.
Timezone: Where are you in the world?
Introduction: Anything else! Extra notes, a fun image (as long as it isn't too big, at least!), trivia and facts, and so on. Feel free to write an actual brief intro here too, if you'd like.

Character Name: Name & username!
Canon: Exactly as it says.
Appearance: Link an image or describe your character; if there's anything notable about them at first meeting, put it here! Brief: A few words to sum up your character, a couple of lines to tell what they're about, whatever you'd like. If you have an info post all ready to go, feel free to link it in addition to your summary!
Choice: Witch or Monster; and for the latter, which one?
Plans: Any plans you have going in! Whether it be about character development due to the choice you put above, about how they're going to react to the world they've landed themselves in, etc. Don't forget to check out the Quest Board and see if there's anything that might interest your character there!
Other Notes: Anything else, from what type of things you like to play - are you the type to focus more on character relationship develop and slice of life, or do you get involved in plot? Like adventure, or want to facilitate others' exploration? Or maybe both! What about shipping and romance, or finding family forged through fire?

Seeking: What type of CR you're looking for, what type of characters your character would Bond with or that you think would help them best, etc.
Offering: The type of CR you can offer with your character, be it the overbearing mother friend, the crouching moron hidden badass, etc.
Not Interested: What you're not interested in at this point. Respect each other's interests, everyone!

Oh shit I THINK I might be on Aether (I have to log in anyway to check, make sure my house doesn't get demo'd), I'm definitely on Primal/Lamia! I recently made a tank alt on another data center that I do believe is probably Aether (the server is Coeurl).

Totally going to happily hop onto a Fordola post on the IC intro-- brisk and severe are not undesirable traits in a warrior, Nel firmly believes.

Yup, Coeurl is Aether! I'm on Adamantoise there. For all your tanking, DPS, and crafting needs. Also adorable needs because my main, Bolormaa Sagahl, is really adorable.

Good good! Because Fordola is gonna be a little out of it... as implied on the test drive, the Alliance does imprison her at the end of Stormblood. So from prison to this? It'll be fiiiiiine. She's only gonna be a little trying to figure out why.

My dumb ass forgot that a baby warrior alt under level 40 can't just waltz straight into Stormblood, hahahahahaha, oops. Still, I can shoot you a line/you can shoot me a line when you're usually on, and I hope to be able to log back in within the week (I just moved house exactly two days ago and the desktop ain't set up yet). I'm new to FFXIV tanking but I'm learnin'.
