Hello, thank you for joining us, and welcome to Aefenglom! The Intro Log will be going on later today at 3PM EST; keep an eye out for it! For now though, it's time to mingle and make friends, grab some CR, and get hopping! And if this looks a little different than the usual OOC Intro, that's because it is: we've made the executive decision to combine it and the CR meme.

Anyway, to help get this all started, we've got a nifty form for everyone to fill out! Feel free to put this into two separate comments if you'd like, or just keep it to one - it's your choice.



Player Name: Your name, handle, whatever you'd like!
Pronouns: Your preferred pronouns. Contact: Preferred method of contact - discord, plurk, twitter, PM, ye olde MSN messenger, etc.
Interests: What are you interested in? Any cool canons? What can someone expect to find on your social media, or what do you like talking about? Etc.

Other Notes: Anything else, from what type of things you like to play - are you the type to focus more on character relationship develop and slice of life, or do you get involved in plot? Character Name: Cloud Strife
Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Appearance: Here because there's not a lot of decent images from the remake just yet.
Brief: Former ShinRa Infantryman who got experimented on, had his memory accidentally altered, and for a few months believed he was someone else until he took a dip in the glowing water known as the Life Stream. Cloud is also a mercenary who works with the group Avalanche to save the Planet from an evil named Sephiroth. Also carries a giant sword, is a nerd despite his looks, and loves chocobo.
Choice: Witch, Evocation
Plans: Going to get used to magic that's nothing like back home. Also be sad/happy his supposed to be dead best friend is here.
Other Notes: He has a gold chocobo with him that is somewhat friendly and he used to race in the Gold Saucer back home. It's a girl.

Seeking: People to aggressively befriend him. People he can possibly nerd out with. Pretty much the only person he would even think about Bonding with at the moment is Zack, so it will take time for him to consider someone else.
Offering: A guy who seems cold and aloof at first, but actually has a sense of humor and can be warm and friendly to those who have the patience to get past deflection and shy for Cloud behavior.
Not Interested: Romance atm. He's got some issues to work through before he even considers it.

Hey Silas!!!! I’m aj, we played together in Recolle for a bit!

I’m super excited to see Cloud here, I’m actually playing FF7 for the first time as we speak so its doubly fun for me. I’m playing Mukuro Ikusaba from Dangan Ronpa, and as the Ultimate SOLDIER I would love for her to get to know Cloud and be cool, distant soldiers together.

CLOUD! Hello. I'd love to toss Justine at him. Maybe they can be magic buddies since she's a witch as well. Justine has no confidence in what she's doing at all and I was going to have her be support but I just imagine her messing things up ahaha. Justine isn't usually aggressive but she is flirty, so Cloud can feel awkward :p

Peridot can also potentially offer aggressive friending services, though her version of that tends to be on the obnoxious end of the spectrum so ymmv if that actually works, hah. She'd probably take his quietness as a challenge to overcome tbh.

Sounds like Yuffie, who he is good friends with at the end of the game even if it doesn't seem like it. XD he needs that in his life.

Omg. Sadly the only version of Yuffie I'm familiar with is... the Kingdom Hearts version, but, yeah, Peridot is happy to provide similar energy :')

FFVII Yuffie is not too dissimilar, but definitely way more of a handful. And obsessed with materia. :D I am excited for this CR
