Elidibus | Final Fantasy XIV | Witch
1. No, I do not expect much. Two dozen shall be sufficient.
2. The 'poncho' did little to protect from the flames. I went through the fence and the blood loss was considerable.
3. Are you still at the harpy's dwelling?
4. By no means should you uncuff him. Regardless of how much he pleads. He is aware of his transgressions.
5. I have been consistently asked if we are dating.
6. It seemed as though I intruded upon an important ceremony. Everyone was dressed in their best attire while I was covered in dirt and blood.
7. You will find a pair of sunglasses in my room. I ask that you bring them to the privy. You may be tempted to ask questions. I ask you to spare me the effort for now.
5, couldn't resist
Uh...
Wow that's unfortunate.
[Nervous laughter... she certainly didn't make any sarcastic comments someone took seriously or anything...]

[The thoughtful frown can probably be heard!]
But I suppose it's possible the same assumption may occur if your neighbors are as presumptuous as my own. Tell them what you wish.

[Cough...]
Not that I'm encouraging you to test that or anything.

[Yes, he typed being. And yes it is probably interchangeable with 'fragmented soul calling itself a person'. But you know. Ascians, man.]

hey that's his bro you're calling crazy
[It takes patience, delicate handling, patience, love, an immortal lifespan, and patience to deal with Lahabrea's genius, clearly.]
no subject
Unfortunately, that's most of what you're like to find around here.

This aside, what burdens of our star can you set aside for myself or Emet-Selch which you cannot for Lahabrea? I have yet to see him act in a way in Aefenglom which would give even a mortal's narrow view a reason to complain his mind is unstable.
And you are not blind to the fact that neither I nor Emet-Selch have done any less than Lahabrea in pursuit of our united purpose.

Sorry this took so long to get back to! ;_;
Lahabrea has done nothing on this wretched Star to earn such bias. A simple clash of personality would not come close to excusing what you call 'civility'. And if it is a taste of how you inevitably react to him in your encounters, expecting the worst, then it is no wonder you have come into constant conflict.
[With text it is usually hard to say if it is anger or just blunt statement. But it seems to be a little bit of both, if not also a touch of impatience.]
I know you do not like hearing me speak so plainly a truth. But you must at least be aware of this much? You may keep your opinion of Lahabrea. But do not try to pretend you are setting it aside when you have yet to do so.

You control your own actions, Irhya. Accusing someone of lunacy based solely on your past hatred is not unbiased. Nor is it setting aside your history with him for a civil co-existence.

You are not strangers so I ask you use it as a frame of reference. If you wish to try for a civil relationship with Lahabrea, do not expect it to be easy or all your history in this city to be washed away with one encounter. Current matters aside, building any trust will take time.

...I suppose him remembering me specifically could be more of a hindrance than a help, too.

You invited me to tell you the truth about who I actually was but desired to hide from it moments later.
I will not count the affects of the ring's curse as a direct example though you should presume almost anything you approached me about other than its dissolution would be inappropriate.
Your singular attitude seems to demand that everything be the way you desire or expect it regardless of what you actually say. It is expected to be frustrating when it is not. But then it appears that frustration leads you to stop thinking in the moment.
At the beginning of this conversation, do you feel you spoke your words about Lahabrea to me in jest or seriousness? Did you think how I may have received even a jest? This is another example of words before thought. The problem does not necessarily exist between you, myself and Lahabrea alone.
Yes. I bear your presence better because you are only a reflection of what you represent from my perspective. Should the Warrior of Darkness or Warrior of Light I know have been the first to appear before me, I would have reacted differently. Regardless, it is another matter to keep in mind.
Have you considered apologizing to Lahabrea for your attitude since you arrived and ask how your words seem to him? Or in the event that matters cannot be reconciled, simply exchange the bare minimum of greetings necessary and go about your way?

Eventually, she writes back.]
I don't really know what to say to all that other than offer an acknowledgment. I heard you. I'll think about it.
But I have to ask, do you think that's truly what he wants? I imagine I could do it, sure, but the odds he'll rebuff it are... higher than zero, at any rate.

Very well.
I can no more speak on what Lahabrea wants than ask him questions he is not here to answer. I only offer my advice on what you could choose to do. Whether you do so is entirely in your hands.
Whether he wants to or not is in his. I will only offer my advice to him if he solicits it.
[No insight on whether it will work is offered. Likely to prevent it from influencing whatever choice Irhya has to make on her own.]
