Good morning Aefenglom,
We apologize for any delays in addressing this situation, as it's one that brought a great deal of concern not only to our game, but to the Dreamwidth community at large. Because of this, we wanted to give it the due diligence that it deserved, with both of us available to go over and discuss the situation, especially with additional information brought forth to us. We will not be divulging any names or that information, with respect to those who brought it to us.
Moving forward, the player in question has been removed and permanently banned from the game. The other player involved, while not in the game, is also banned from joining. This is never a decision to be made lightly. But the conduct shown breaks the Golden Rule that is the foundation of Aefenglom, and the comfort and safety of our players is something we both take very seriously. This game is meant to be a place for you to form bonds, to be comfortable, to have fun. We would do our best to keep it that way.
Please know that, if you ever have any issues or concerns, we'll always be here to listen. We never want any player - current or prospective - to feel like they can't approach us. Our goal from the start has always been to be transparent and to ensure that this game is a place for you to belong.
While we won't prohibit discussion of the situation among players or with us, we'll be locking comments to this post. If you would like to reach out to us, you can always do so by sending a private message to the mod journal or leaving a comment on the mod contact. We do ask that, if you speak with one another on this topic, you do so civilly and constructively.
