Aguril started off with the opening of a Council-led Community Garden, a fixture that is sure to become a beloved part of the neighborhood. The Mirrorbound Council put in an impressive effort in having the project approved and putting in the work to make it possible! With a widely positive reception, the Western Residential District in which it resides will no doubt become a greener, richer place in the weeks and years to come.

A little later, in the Haven, some residents called for community help in cleaning out their cluttered basement, which turned out to be full of all kinds of crazy, enchanted, and just plain old items! Maybe you found something cool and useful, or maybe you just got yourself cursed, but either way, that basement really did need a spring cleaning.

Toward the end of the month, Mirrorbound saw a problem from earlier in the year, halfway across the country, turn up around Aefenglom and the Northern Outpost. Dangerous creatures known as Nuckelavee tracked some brave adventurers across miles and miles of Wilde to exact screaming vengeance. The Mirrorbound rallied to defend the people of the slums and the Outpost, and to exterminate the horde of beasts before they could claim more lives than they did.

It perhaps serves to hammer home the point that Aefenglom and Dorchacht share quite a bit these days, from problems such as Nuckelavee, to good things, such as...

The Price of Revolution Part 1

September's event, The Price of Revolution, will be a major three parter, including a surprise plot-relevant TDM! Part 1 will go up on the 19th, the TDM interlude on the 21st (which we will allow existing characters to top-level on), and Part 2 will conclude the event in early October. The calendar has been updated to reflect this. Location page updates will go up at some point before this event starts as well to ensure that everybody is up to date on the Dorchacht situation!

The invitations come toward the beginning of the month, hand-written and delivered by courier to all of Dorchacht's former refugees that now make their homes in Aefenglom, and each Mirrorbound that can be reached in the Haven and beyond: they are all invited to Dorchacht's Independence Celebration beginning on the 19th! Nearly a week of celebratory entertainment, bonfires, food, and drink, leading up to a final, large party on the evening of the 25th - the anniversary of the rebellion that freed the city from the vice-like grip of Morgana Drummond. Since Mirrorbound were instrumental in that victory, they are all invited to join them in Dorchacht as honored, VIP guests, whether they themselves were present a year ago or not.

There is much for Dorchacht to celebrate. Once Monsters were held as mind-controlled slaves to an upper class of Witches, but now they have equality - so long as you don't hold fast to the old regime, anyway. Education, agriculture, and trade have all improved drastically from how they were a year ago, thanks in part to Mirrorbound working so extensively with their people. They've also made headway into the Wilde, where before they never explored far outside their imposing walls, claiming back some new sections of land for farming and livestock. Many of these improvements will be on display during the celebrations, such as their first proper harvest, and many of the citizens have prepared small gifts for Mirrorbound in thanks for their group's part in securing their city's freedom.

This all culminates in a large, enchanted fireworks show on the 25th just after dark, to represent the strategic fires set during the final revolution that allowed the Rebellion to get the upper hand on Morgana's forces and turn the tides of their years-long fight. It's set to be a good time for all.

At least until an uninvited guest crashes the party.

As many Mirrorbound suspected and tried to convince the Three of, Morgana Drummond did not die in the Wilde when she and many of her followers were violently ran out of the city. A year later, she's returned, nursing a massive grudge. The party will become a battlefield on the streets of Dorchacht once more, until finally she will lay a spell across the entire city, tragically putting all of its citizens, including the Circle of Three, the current rulers of Dorchacht, into a deep, enchanted sleep.

The TDM will begin efforts, organized by Miss Nessie, to wake Dorchacht through a dangerous, experimental jaunt into purposeful dreamwalking, and Part Two in early October will deal with finding Morgana Drummond's base of operations and her final fate. The final outcome of this event is not yet set and player actions will factor in!

your options help quite a bit in putting our bonding plans forward—! i do not mind having more than one thread to have our build up going (since they'll both be at the orphanage, playwrightin' and dorch rebellion later in the month; we can handwave some and others too, doesn't matter entirely! i just want some big boi in). eren was there for the first rebellion so he has scars and stories to tell! it could be great cr building to where we want to be, so just lmk which one interests you to write! and . . . the tunnel.

i was thinking eren could offer a temporary bond for them to team up in the tunnels. dragon protec. and he can also be Big Mac version so styx could ride him ;o; they could start thinking of something more permanent from there, what do you think?

I don't mind multiple threads either...Eren's really fun to play against, clutches fist. I'd definitely like to play out the Dorch...play...one, since not only will that be good bonding stuff with Eren having been there it'll directly involve metal for the first time. The orphanage I'm like, on one hand it'd be two things involving kidlets and they're both always gonna be over at that place? And the other I'm like, a dragon and an idiot on the roof fixing leaks. Fantastic. So maybe that one'll be up to you lmf.

I know I'm basically saying 'yeah all of these would be cool to do' and that's useless, I am so sorry

But the tunnel stuff sounds amazing? Big boi riding something even cooler than the wormipede...it'd be a dream come true tbh. And considering he will legit misunderstand people telling him to watch out for wights as an accented 'right' and just go left initially in the tunnels...he could definitely use the protection. Don't leave this man alone, please.
