DRAGON QUEST PLOTTING: JUNE

hello everyone! because of high demand, this post is for those who've signed up for this month's dragon tree quest to plot amongst ourselves! these last few months have been a kick in the teeth because of the pandemic, and i myself had some rl circumstances that discouraged me to post this sooner as we neared the end of may. because of that, some of the dungeon rooms from last month can still be explored this month for any interested in puzzles and team work!

we'll be having one of these every month now, and as a reminder: the dragon tree quest is open to all and lasts the entire month! this quest will last for a few more months before it leads to a game-wide event of the first dragon's awakening! ♥

Though he’s no combatant, Stiles has been joining the effort to cleanse Créia's boulder and tree every month. This month, I’m super excited to have him put his brain to use in the dungeon especially.

THE OUTPOST
If any characters are new to the mission and want background information, Stiles will share what he knows from Eren! Otherwise, he won’t linger here too long.

THE BOULDER
Stiles can be found offering flowers and plants grown from his own garden here, albeit awkwardly because he’s an awkward guy. Expect to find him talking a mile a minute at the boulder to keep Créia hostage company.

THE TREE
He’s going to pick through every room of this damn tree like it’s his god-given job. I’d love to have him figure out the puzzle in the right room, so if any other Monsters are interested in doing the same thing, let’s sync up! Stiles will also be checking out the upper center room and possibly falling asleep to the pollen. Anyone to help wake him up/save his ass would be appreciated.

Stiles can tell him Everything He Knows at the outpost, since Itachi is a clueless newbie.

Then maybe they reencounter each other in the tree after solving the separate witch/monster puzzles? He can rescue Stiles from the pollen....... and getting vored by plants. Y/N? BONDING EXPERIENCE.

Seriously tho, this sounds great. Stiles will update Itachi for sure and definitely appreciate being saved from premature death/voring. Not his kink tbh.

Not a lot really happening this month for the quest on her part. She's basically being her up until the full moon helping with the plants, cleansing and trying to fight off lesser infected. But she's going to feel increasingly crappy during the build-up to the full moon.

...Then she's realising Eren has also been there and hightailing it back to town. Cause even if she wasn't sick, she doesn't want to deal with that.

But Mikasa has been around the past two months cleaning, doing grunt work and trying to fight pests with varying results. She's also been in the dungeon But because she's a not fully changed fae...she's been pretty useless there even with her fighting skills.

What she's doing
-Turning up and pottering about with plants and doing some patrols
-Getting increasingly lethargic
-Molting a lump of arm chitin and questioning her existence

Things I'd like to do
-Kinda want her to look at the dungeon and that fae part. She's already been in the monster side and will probably go back to absorb some of that sweet, sweet magic
-That faun, fae and dragon thing... 👀
^^both of these are kinda dependant on someone not trying to stop a fae that's not looking to great from doing something dumb.

okay so beyond eren getting high on her fae chunks, i was going to have tendou go along because both henry and mikasa are going so why wouldn’t he :) he could def keep an eye on her and keep her company!

General Plans: Well, Maria's mostly just here cuz Eren and her got drunk one day and he offered it, and she's Curious about this world, but this month she might be a little less present. She planted a bunch of the flowers/flowering plants around the DragonBoulder last month, and will mostly be tending to those. She is a great fighter with a lot of offensive oomph, so she can fight, but she has less... chutzpah for it of late. It's a character development thing, she's losing her taste for fighting and killing. She's still good at it, though, so if the chips are down and she's needed for an emergency, she has swords, she has FIRE, and she has a lot of training.

Otherwise, I'm more or less open!

—winter in the wilde is tough on one dragon so many will realize that eren is more sluggish than normal when he's out here! it's harder to wake up or eat and his built-on heat spells will run out very quickly if he doesn't have recharges at ready-! if some witches would be so kind as to give him a hand with that, maybe he could be a little more active and not so narcoleptic! ♥ mostly heat-seeking and hanging out indoors in the outpost base, there're plenty of opportunities to hang toasty u//u

—especially with it heating up, eren will haul ass to visit the boulder whenever he can though, harboring more of an affinity to the forest dragon and having personally spoken to her, so anyone who would like to have him info drop about her, hmu!

—hello monster room, i'd be happy to team up with people for that. with eren also being a dragon, i wouldn't mind adventuring further up to the center room to take care of the infection and sleeping plants! we can snoop around the area and see if we don't find something special through local investigation :)

He can always hit Maria up for a recharge on his spells before he wanders out, if you wanna do it that way. She is Fire, herself. Or just like... finds her at the dragon boulder and flops down like halp

General Plans: A2 is pretty well-insulated from the cold, as she is still (mostly) an android, and she is a literal killing machine. She runs very warm. She is designed for and excels at close range combat and if you gave her something to throw or shoot she'd likely ace that too.

That being said, she is surprisingly adept at fetch quests and likes flowers (her gap moe), so will search for healthy plant life for the boulder with minimal levels of griping. She'll be skulking around the outpost too and will even make some awkward attempts at conversation.

She's never been on these quests and while intel is not her specialty, she likes to have it! It's the military in her. So herself and her Pod (the little automaton that is always around her) will be wanting to know the gist of things.

A2 is a meathead, but is apparently pretty strategic under pressure, so the monster room will initially annoy and/or confuse her meathead ass but she'll be of some use here once she stops being a meathead. (Pod is also rather adept at puzzle-solving.)

Also! She'll need at least a temp bond for this shindig, which will be 100% for practicality's sake. She's much more likely to do this with other monsters atm, or people she's interacted with before.

As a note: A2 is bad at talking but Pod is not! So it is often willing to clarify things she is reticent about in threads. I'm super excited to thread/plot!!

General Plans: Elliot is a healer and also Eren's bonded, so he's been on a fair number of these missions.

Elliot is capable of healing Cwyld thanks to his training at the infimary. So he'll be helping with cleansing the boulder as well as treating any of you who manage to get themselves infected.

Since he's a witch and not too terrible at puzzles, he'll be happy to help out in the witch specialty room.

Overall I don't have too much planned and I'm winging it on the base of others! Looking forward to getting back involved in this though.

Anyway I'm glad there's a medic, because Mikasa's method of dealing with being sad is to overwork herself and she's going to be having some issues.

Also the whole she knows Eren is in Aef and bolting the moment she smells him thing.

Prince | Henry | Fire Emblem Awakening

• First and foremost, Henry's a Witch who specializes in Abjuration, Necromancy, and Evocation schools of magic. He's specifically found himself practiced in healing, reviving, and dispelling/shielding. (oh how a dark mage develops...) He is very eager to help in any of these regards. However, Henry's still trying to get the hang of using his magic to heal against the Cwyld, and his magic is considered "tainted" because of his practice in Necromancy... he takes the L...
  
  I would like to develop his magical arsenal toward learning how to protect from the Cwyld if his magic isn't as effective at healing it, however! The very least he can offer, therefore, are defensive measures (not failproof!) for characters who need protection from the Cwyld. This spell would be temporary and, at this point in time, amateurish, but he's working on it.


• I will be backdating a thread to make it so that he attended the last dragon quest, where he'll be fighting with Soren, so this is his second time tagging along.


• The Outpost: if anyone would like to have some downtime with Henry, he'll chat about whatever! He's sociable and amicable, if not morbid and jarring company. He won't be much help giving information, however — Henry's very much a follower, not a leader, and doesn't typically ask questions or gather information. He likes to get in on the action where he's told to.
  
  As for personal touches, expect Henry to have deposited bones in places. Bones, and lots and lots of quick-and-dirty magical implements. He has Two Interests.


• The Boulder: Henry... should probably not cleanse this with his magic! He learned that he wasn't terribly helpful flushing the leylines because he dabbles in Necromancy, and the same may be true here, with his magic tainted as it is. Nonetheless, if anyone would like to thread out an interaction with the boulder (perhaps pointing out that he's not very helpful in this regard), let me know and I can make a closed starter.


• The Tree: I'd love to plot doing a puzzle, whether it's the Witch or Monster one! I'm thinking Henry'll probably take one look at the "channels" in the floor in the left room and think "this is where my blood goes..." (henry NO) so I might make an open starter with that and figure out if that does any good whatsoever. Hey, it asks for a pure form of magical "water", what's more magical than blood???
  
  With regards to the center room, Henry's specialty is Abjuration spells. He might be of some help warding off the pollen with shields, restoring people's states to non-sleep, or protecting people from harm once they succumb to it. And as ever, he's definitely the type to say "hey, let's take these flowers!" He did it in Dorchacht, he'll do it again here.
