I have definitely been plotting since the sign ups! I'll be getting concrete plans with Asura's player, buuuuutt.... Dany is going to catch fire to her cells/the cellblock in hopes to provide a distraction and since she was chosen as an escapee — she'll be able to bumrush out! Also to note: because of her dragon traits, she has been tortured with ice and sedated mildly during operations to remove her scales. She won't be able to use her flamebreath fully, but it may be how she starts the fire — she just needs to find a way to spread it.

If you'd like some negative CR with her, I'm open to her being called reckless / possibly causing others to get burns in her impulsive plans. This ain't all rainbows and sunshine breaking out....

How to help

For those who don't (or do) have plans, Plunk them here! How can your character assist? Can they distract? Punch? Or somehow get in the way? Let's get creative!

While Judar doesn't have much, save for his head, for the initial escape, he will be following and keeping the tail end of the group safe.

... Without telling anyone that he's planning on being the buffer to secure their way out.

So it'll seem like he's part of the escapees, until there's people going after them, at which time he'll hang back and be headbutting and fighting to occupy them, getting 'recaptured.'

If you need someone to help you bust out of a cell (maybe your character is weak or needs to be carried) or help you through the maze that is getting out of this hell hole, Trevor will help you. He's usually shackled but he can use the chain part of those as a means to choke someone. Or, you know, smack them in the face with. If he's not muzzled at the time of the escape, he's a vampire so he's got fangs to bite even though he might just stick to being creative with his surroundings and using whatever he can. Chairs can be thrown, beds can be turned over, sheets can be used to whip someone with. He might even block a door with a wooden board. He's not against using whatever he has around him.

If you want him to help yours out and he stay behind to buy your character some time, I'm also good with that. Whatever you need Trevor for, he'll help you. o/

i don't have plans but i DO have a gwen who is, despite being very smart, dumb and reckless!! if a rathmore got close enough to her she could tear their throat out and steal their keys, or if she can get access to water to transform she could hostage them with tentacles in order to Do Some Teamwork, Probably. she's also not a great planner, but amazing if you need someone to do some insane shit without time to think about it first.

Turnskins are pretty strong, so Fang can probably help break someone's chains out of the wall or kick open a cell door just wide enough to squeeze out of or something. She has one (1) feat of strength in her before she's exhausted.

Also standard bludgeoning people with restraints, biting, tackling, etc.

so Lex is escaping, but she is also helping people to escape because she's stubborn like that (admittedly she's also gonna be like, bleeding everywhere, but). She'll probably human shield a lot because lol metal bones. Punch, kick, headbutt, hit people with her wings and/or the solid piece of metal on her arm that they couldn't get off of her.

She can also pass on messages when she gets out, if anyone wants her to!

Yuya has minor illusion and fire abilities, so he can use those to create distraction and give other people the chance to escape! He's not going to be picky who he helps, anyone who can get out is someone who can get them help.

Caster is definitely going to help in any kind of organized escape/rioting et all. He got natural high-pain resistance, so he could play a bait, where he suddenly gets much more lively than a guard could expect a bloody mess to be. While he is the type to help and stay behind, he got rolled as one of those who do escape, so— there are plans for someone pulling on him the "I'm a buffer for your escape" instead (looks at Judar, looks at Archer)

Since his magic specialization lies in Enchantment, and while he doesn't know healing spells, he knows one that turns off pain. So once the magic dampening effects are out of the picture, he could act as a dose of morphine for the fellow escapees.

Some of the ideas for Alex was using her merrow song to make prisoners more obedient, but if she snaps out of it enough, maybe she can turn it against some of the captors to help give some extra time in escaping while she has some access to water. She is also ready to latch on to someone and bite and scratch.

With Caren, she's been using her sensitive hearing to listen in to conversation by the family members and the guards- so she can pass on information to the others!

Who knows, she could hear as to when they're having a guard shift or when the next rounds at the cells are happening!


And of course she can offer durability and some chimera strength. She's also pretty agile on the virtue of being small, and by having those cat genes in the mix :>

Paloma can hypnotize someone with a potency that depends on how well-fed she is at the time (a donation may be required)!

Despite everything, she is making an active effort NOT to kill, but will not interfere if someone else is attempting to do so. HOWEVER, if she's fed, she's fast and frantic and keen on bodyblocking/being a pain in the ass for jailers with scratchy nails and strong blows.

- Enkidu can do their best to focus all the (negative) attention onto themselves. Don't worry, they got this.
- Look, Enkidu can't magic themselves out of a cardboard box BUT they are still a weapon. They can punch and kick. Hold doors.

They will probably try to slip out as well if they get a chance but will be pulled back.

ventus isn't going to be able to escape because he's going to work very hard to help others escape first! ven is a turnskin and can shift if need be!

he has injuries that won't be useful in helping himself escape so he'll be acting as a distraction instead for other victims. if anyone would like to use him as a distraction for their character hmu! also if your character tries to escape and fails maybe they can get punished together too HAHAHAH

Archer is going to help other captives escape, but will stay behind to ensure their safe escape. He can offer basic first-aid, help with planning, or provide distraction. Having a high pain tolerance makes him a good tank, and he's a skilled fighter.

Along the lines of "using a bit of magic to help an escapee out" Fugo would basically use one opportunity to try and even the odds of someone else getting out.

A) use a bit of healing magic to, likely not entirely, help with someone's injuries to make them stronger for an escape
B) give someone a shield that reflects magical/physical projectiles. it wouldn't last long (probably would break after one or two hits?) but it would fling whatever is thrown at it back at whoever threw it.

He is absolutely also willing to do things like pass messages along, share food/resources, or even make an opportunity for a more hearty/determined cellmate by lunging at a complacent guard who enters their cell alone thinking they're both been broken down. fugo would try to strangle the guard; the other character could go for the guard's keys or bolt out the open cell.

also, for characters who are willing to carry back a message, he 100% has one to send back to giorno. I haven't figured out the details yet, but expect it to be Dramatic(tm)

Basically a catch all for suggestions, desires, idea of phases for escaping, etc, etc!

With an ongoing game of musical chairs cells being played out by captive characters, I'd say organizing a prison riot geared toward providing cover/distraction for all escapees wouldn't be out of the question. Messages can be etched into cell-walls, passed along through whispers and code, or even be communicated through daring games of flick-football through prison bars. Interested characters could agree to move on the 21, during a time when a number of the Rathmore family normally pass through the cellblock— maybe when daily meals are 'served' and characters are typically taken for experimentation.

If anyone’s up for this, or has ideas on how to facilitate everyone moving to create chaos for the Rathmores together, feel free to comment here!

No concrete plans yet, but a few ideas!

- if your character wants Waver to find someone specific or pass on a direct message to the outside world (aside from the general location, what's happening etc), lmk!!

- Waver is a Turnskin who can shift into a small dog. maybe this can help him run away...?

- he'll be pretty weak and definitely need a hand! other escapees? someone to cover for him and keep him from getting caught? someone to take the blow for him?! I'm here for drama, babeyyy let's make it messy

- also looking for someone to help him get the silver restraints off him because he definitely can't do it on his own. any strong buds out there?

- he's got a ring that lets him do very minor elemental magic. mods confirmed it could be kept on him and not confiscated until/unless he actually gets caught using magic. since it's only minor and only allows him to manipulate elements rather than conjure something out of thin air, I'm thinking... maybe he can give a lit torch a boost? cause a ruckus with a small wind-blast knocking something over?

- if your fellow escapee needs a buddy, hmu! I'm also interested in having Waver help people escape and get to safety

I don't have anything planned with anyone yet, but I have some ideas I've been batting around that could be used for threading purposes!

• Even though MTT's one of the escapees, he has a talent for shapeshifting and vocal mimicry as a Puca. (Though the best way to tell it's him is that he can't remember how many fingers humans are supposed to have...) With some help, perhaps another Mirrorbound can subdue one of the Rathmores and he can steal their image and their keys to unlock some cells, temporarily undetected. Get as many people as possible out of their cells and onto the floor.


• A lot of characters seem inclined toward being strong, and Mettaton's a perfect candidate for this. Since he's made of metal, there's little to worry about if your character has to be rough with his shackles. I'd love to thread out having a character help free him of the chains binding his legs.
  
  Speaking of limbs, if it ever comes up that Mettaton is apprehended/bound by the arms... Well, he'll recommend tearing them off for him in a heartbeat, if you're down for that. Who needs arms with legs like these? It'll hurt now that he's become more cyborg bunny, less android, but, details. Just... hold onto them, ok? He wants them back when this is all over.


• He is Fast, since he's a Puca. He'll need help keeping the path to the exit clear, and it's more than likely that he'll get caught along the way. Having help getting free of these situations will be helpful.


• As with other escapees, Mettaton will gladly relay dramatic messages to your character's loved ones. By dramatic, I mean it might turn into a love confession on the way out of his mouth. You want that, I'm sure. He'll really stoke those fires of love to get some action! Otherwise, his focus upon escape is to be as loud about their location of capture as quickly as possible, which is helped by being a speedy Puca.
