Shinjiro, he's a teenager. Those all always all over the place. (Though Rich has been trying to be more genuine lately, it's probably likely that's not working.)

Also he's definitely a firecracker... he tries to take things in stride, but there are certain things that are. Hard to talk about. And he has been noticing those are things Shinjiro likes to grill him on :C he's so confused, why don't you like him, senpai

Ngl I laughed at "But he's a teenager" because I think they are the same age.... Shinji just turned 18 like a month and a half before dying.... THEY ARE JUST VERY DIFFERENT re:environments and pasts and cultural expectations among so many other things.

Shinji just talks about what's presented to him, tbh, hahahaha.

tbh if anything, Rich is only a little younger than Shinjiro, like he's between 17 and 18, but i mean, losing two years of your teenage life to a supercomputer kinda messes with your maturity level and your methods of dealing with trauma...

OH i misread your app then, hahahaha, I thought it said Rich was 17 in musical and he was a year post canon-- BUT IT'S BEEN A WHILE. hopefully rich will be able to grow and realize that its his choice how he responds to said trauma and everyone else's choice how they respond to him, hahaha. IT TAKES GROWIN'......

Lmao, I think I went with 18 to avoid any weird underage shenanigans? So you're right! He is at least realizing that it's his choice, but the... everyone else's choice is hard for him, when he's so used to doing anything for acceptance, whoops.
