Weather
- Those who hate the heat can rejoice, because summer is on the way out, the temperatures cooling steadily as autumn sets in properly around midmonth. It shapes up to be a pleasant month of weather, just cool enough to make fluffy sweaters (or fur) comfortable without being cold. The leaves just outside of Aefenglom are beginning to turn colors and many crops are ready to be harvested. Everything is just perfect for Mea Fomhair in Aefenglom, and for Dorchacht's celebrations of independence late in the month, which are set to last for almost a week before culminating in a huge party on the 25th, the anniversary of last year's revolt.
Meanwhile, deep in the Wilde, the first signs of spring will start to edge through around midmonth, with plenty of the snows melting away, leaving the ground wet, chilly, and slushy. Hardier trees and plants are starting to show early signs of growth, and animals, both infected and not, are beginning to emerge from their dens to forage and hunt. Spring can be a dangerous time out here, and travelers are urged to take precautions! The Silent Forest especially warrants care, as the toxic trees are waking from winter dormancy, and all parts of them release a highly unpleasant poison.
The Sisters will be full early this month on the 2nd and they will darken, new, on the 17th.
