Yosuke listened. Even if it wasn't as much as he would have liked, any information was better than none at this point. "If it's not pleasant for either party, why aren't you Bonded then? I mean, it sounds like it'd just bite you in the ass eventually."

Maybe he just hadn't been here very long so he's been able to use those "options" to avoid it for now. And honestly, even if it was for entirely different reasons, Yosuke wasn't too keen on sharing a part of himself like that either. But... well, the thought of Yu suffering came to mind even if he had no idea what exactly that entailed and he just couldn't find it in himself to outright refuse. Not if it meant helping his partner.
