I am more concerned with those who owe their allegiance to the Kingdom. You say that Felix has been more amenable to cooperation, and perhaps that is due to his practical nature. But Sylvain... I do not know the man very well, but from what I understand, despite his noble stature, he has every reason to detest a society that values Crests. He would seem an even more natural ally, so if I am to venture a guess, there is some other reason that he is so hostile.
