[He doesn't make a move right away. Instead Itachi stands back, poised at a distance, to observe the phenomenon of the Monster at flight. And though he's not the one in the air, not the one beating powerful wings against the current - sleeker and blacker than any crow he's ever summoned - he finds himself wondering at the thrill of that laughter, the joyous exclamation, as though puzzling at what emotion exists behind it.
Needless to say the sight is impressive. He's seen Deidara's craftsmanship, the birds he's put into flight, but this is not the same, is not an owned unliving thing. Itachi's eyes are the slightest bit wider in the face of it.
Once the stranger vanishes over the lip of the building, he turns his focus onto his own path. Itachi circles the perimeter until he finds a wall deemed suitable to climb. It doesn't come with the same swiftness, but there's ease in the way he maneuvers, using everything to his advantage: the uneven vertical surface of stone; the hanging ribbon of a cloth draped between windows, the handhold of a stalactite, the beam of a makeshift window. It would be faster with chakra - he might be able to jump a majority of the distance - but without, the climb requires more physical strength and dexterity, and eventually Itachi reaches the roof. He hauls the upper half of his body over, then swings legs over the edge, gracefully coming to stand.]
How did it feel?
[Attention now on the Monster, he crosses the roof, bringing them closer.]
