[ Is it fortunate or unfortunate to be somewhat unfazed when waking to unknown surroundings? Thesa herself isn't quite sure which way to lean as her eyes adjust to the darkness, taking in the soft glow of he algae. To not know where one is should be alarming, regardless of the circumstances. However, life seems to enjoy throwing her into these sorts of situations - enough so that the Viera does little more than get her bearing. Her ears twitch at every little sound, the only outward sign that Thesa is alert and on guard.
The creatures, as she ventures through the caverns, do not appear to be hostile and she has no desire to stop and see if they are. She does not recognize them and that alone is reason to leave them be. After all they do not seem to be causing the Viera any harm. Thus Thesa continues down the passageways, becoming more concerned that none of them seem to lead to the surface until she hears the sounds of someone in distress.
Without giving it much thought, Thesa sprints into action. The magic component of her rapier may not be working, but the blade is more than sufficient. In one swift move, the Viera slices through one of those worms, turning towards its would-be dinner. ]
Did we venture too close for our friend here's liking? [ The tip of her blade taps the worm's corpse. ] Perhaps we have now learned our lesson?

She has not seen their like before.
Thankfully, she does not stand out too much. At least there are not as many glances her way... Until the residents take note of her clothing. Her ears move this way and that, catching their dubious whispering. Of course it is not only Thesa that they speak of. Apparently many are being met with overly discerning eyes.
Thesa snatches up some clothing from a stall when its owner's back is turned. The first person she comes into contact with will have their hands suddenly full of silk fabric. ]
We are standing out a bit much for my liking. I am about to remedy this and I would think that you should do the same.

[ Apparently this is what her appearance gets her; Thesa is being "persuaded" by several Monster residents that she is in need of a bond. They are directing her towards someone that they have identified as a Witch. Thesa, naturally, looks more and more put off by this. ]
I assure you, I am capable of finding someone on my own. While your assistance is appreciated [ It's not ] it does not appear that this one is in dire need of protection.
[ Now that may net Thesa some funny looks. She is a Monster, right? Why should she not want to be bonded to a Witch? Maybe she already has one?
Whatever the case, they don't seem too inclined to let her leave... ]
