[OOC: I will do my best to avoid spoilers but a note: 9S is missing his left arm.]
Arrival
[There are so many things wrong with this situation but, y'know what that's been about par for the course for the last...however long. 9S wakes up, looks around, and just sorta sighs as he stumbles to his feet as best he can.]
I don't know what I expected, but it sure wasn't this.
[He's pretty sure this isn't where he's supposed to be but hey. Better than where he was.]
Boats and Processions
[The problem with missing an entire arm (and feel free to stare at the mechanical bits that 9S is making no attempts to cover up) is that it makes trying to get a boat kind of pointless since he can't row. So he just sort of. Stares at the boats, stares at the creatures, and turns back to the boats, clearly trying to figure out how to get into the boat.
And once he gets into a boat and gets to see that weird procession, he looks around at whoever's in the boat with him, concerned.]
Should, uh, should we be worried? [Are they about to get eaten?]
The City
[It's not until they reach this weird city that 9S decides to cover up the missing limb, mostly because one of the merchants notices it and insists that 9S take something so he doesn't scare any of the children before he can get his "prosthetic" replaced. 9S gets the feeling there's no point in trying to ask what the man means by "prosthetic"--this is a really, really, really bizarre dream, after all--so 9S just takes it.
And struggles to tie it off. Help?
Or you could help him later, when he's getting all-but-dragged over to a Monster by someone who took one look at him and decided to "matchmake".]

Seriously, I'm really not interested--!
