[ It was intended to be an offhand comment to both be amusing (to her) and express her frustrations for the situation (to Chandra). She's not exactly surprised for it to be taken as anything that warrants actual conversation, but it isn't as if either of them have many other options unless they want to start talking to the trees. But that's Nissa's deal and she isn't sure the trees would like to hear what she had to say, anyway.

She thinks back, for a moment, to her own abandon at traveling through the woods she thought she knew so well.
